December Special! Take on your next mountain adventure and then relax in this beautiful, modern, private mountain home. Surrounded by evergreens and aspens 3 miles up a scenic drive with breathtaking Pikes Peak views and scenery. One mile light hike (or snowshoe) to the Upper Catamount Reservoir where families and friends can fish, kayak, mountain bike, hike, trail run, snowshoe or just chill in a hammock for hours. Continuing the trail will take you 7 miles to the Pikes Peak Highway, where athletes can test their endurance to the summit. Cool Sunny days in the summer, frequent snow in winter. White Christmas is likely! 45 minutes from Colorado Springs. 10 minutes from downtown Woodland Park. Located on Pikes Peak at about 10,000 Feet elevation (on the backside). This 3400 SF single-family spec home is upgraded with high-end stainless steel appliances, a whole-house humidifier, Smart home features, hardwood floors, granite counters, and other creature comforts! Custom Built in 2008\. Note: Pikes Peak summit access via hiking or biking only from this side of the mountain. Drivers must descend the neighborhood and use Pikes Peak Highway to drive to the reservoirs and Summit. Luxurious new mattresses, pillows, and new 700 thread count bedding. Full kitchen stocked with nice utensils, plates, glasses, pots and pans, etc. Great place for a Family Feast! Giant soaker tub in the master bathroom! Plenty of giant aspens and pine trees - bring your camping hammock! Note: The Hot Tub is currently out of service. Plenty of space in the driveway for you to bring your ATVs, dirt bikes, or toys and park the trailers if you are planning to hit the trails during your stay. (Please do not ride ATVs on our land). Propane grill and smoker on the deck. Propane Firepit and Adirondak chairs to enjoys the Pines. Private space on an acre of land with awesome trees and boulders for the kids to climb and explore. Computer desk with a docking station for your laptop, ergonomic chair, monitor, keyboard and mouse. (Bring your own computer to dock). The home is professionally cleaned between each guest. All linens are sanitized and steam dried. The whole-house humidifier has a UV light to clean the air that passes through the vents. Windows are opened between guests, and all hard surfaces are disinfected. Sanitize cycle is run on the dishwasher for dishes. This home is CLEAN! Clarification: This home has an above-ground hot tub outside on the patio. This home does not have a heated pool. There is also a soaker bathtub in the master bedroom and a standard bathtub in one other bathroom. (Winter months - hot tub use must be requested in advance). \*\*\*Hot Tub Out of Service for the Winter 2025-2026\*\*\* The landline house phone is available for domestic and emergency calls. (Limited to no cell service unless using WiFi calling). Streaming TV, Starlink Internet (up to 500 mbps), coffee, and assorted tea are complimentary. Cotton swabs, Qtips, soap, shampoo, and conditioner are also provided for your use. We appreciate your respectful use of these items. This home is on well water and has a septic system. The kitchen was FULLY stocked and the hot tub was a hit with the kids. Lots of room and amenties with the memory foam beds making nights enjoyable and restful. The location is amazing! A quiet mountain neighborhood among the aspens, yet we were a quick 12 minute drive to town. It was such a restful retreat with plenty of room for our family to have together time and quiet time. Lots to love about this property- comfortable beds, tasteful decor with accents of Colorado photography made the house feel cozy and inspiring, a lovely deck space off the kitchen, and a wonderful, well-maintained hot tub to unwind in after the day’s adventures.Family living was easy at this property with access to the laundry room/ mud room, a well- equipped kitchen with everything we needed to prepare and enjoy family meals, and spacious driveway parking for the loading and unloading of our excursions.We also appreciated how spotless and well-maintained everything was. Our hosts were very welcoming and responsive. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would happily return to this mountain retreat! ##### Nate O. Hot tub huge and clean. Felt like home. There is a national park 50 feet away with hiking trails. Woodland park was an amazing little spot. Posh grocery store and you have to got to 110 reserve. The views are breathtaking and the decor is striking. The home is very clean and well stocked with amenities. The hosts are welcoming. They also checked to make sure everything was going smoothly. The neighbors are close and there is a lot of traffic on the road due to the trail head at the end of the street. If you are looking for something quiet, this may not be for you. We ended up getting in town 2 hours early and he really needed a nap. We contacted the host to see if there was anyway we could check in early and she made it happen. We had four adults and two small children under the age of three. This was the only property I could find that had king beds and enough bathrooms to accommodate us all. The location is quiet and plenty of room outside to roam. There is not an air conditioner because the temperature normally doesn’t get above 75 in the summer. The hosts were able to control the whole house fan and get it set to a comfortable temperature. That along with open windows the house was very comfortable. If we come back here again, we will definitely goose to stay here. ##### Roxy W. They’ve done a great job of paying attention to all of the little details and creating a space that makes you feel at home away from home. The owners have provided nearly everything you need, including cooking spices and steak rub. Good wine glasses. Nice furnishings, large rooms and house. The hot tub was amazing. I’m less enthusiastic about the firmness of the beds, but that’s an individual choice. Minor suggestion: add a meat thermometer and a cheap wine decanter. All in all a great getaway! ##### Kurt S. We found the house to be beyond clean- pristine and immaculate came to mind. The lay out was great- master upstairs and 2 downstairs rooms with ample space. The 6 person hot tub was a hit! The kitchen was well stocked and the kitchen amenities were all high end (fridge, range, oven, microwave and dishwasher). The grill was great too! No detail was forgotten and we did love our stay! I would agree with the other reviewers that the internet is slow (this is posted on the listing) and cell service isn't great. But, we weren't there for that! The sheets were nice. The towels could use an update but, a minor thing! If you are looking for a great place to stay to getaway in the mountains, this is the place for you! ##### Megan S. Every aspect of the experience here has been curated to ensure maximum enjoyment with none of the hassle of traditional rental properties. check in was an absolute breeze, with no need to exchange keys with a person, a welcome change especially with covid. The house itself is Nestled just far enough away from Woodland Park that you feel secluded, but close enough that trips to town are easy, even in bad weather. As a non native and someone who does not drive in snow often, this was very helpful. the house is full of things to keep you occupied, like books, games, and obviously the AMAZING hot tub. \*Seriously\* - if you book for no other reason, book for the hot tub. A huge pet peeve of mine is a poor sleeping situation. This can make or break a rental, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the beds are firm and supportive, and there are plenty of good pillows. Even the guest beds are great. The kitchen is a cooks dream. huge gas range, dual zone oven, and everything you need cook an incredible meal, including a great grill. Internet is a bit slow, but that is a welcome trade off for all of the other things that this rental brings. Five Stars all around. ##### brian g. You have all the amenities you would want and more. Very spacious and soooo comfy. The host is super attentive and always ready in case you need it.
