Communication with the owner was by far the best experience I've had communicating with a VRBO owner (I've stayed at 10 - 12 VRBO properties). My 14 year old daughter and I used this as a base camp for our rock climbing, rapelling, zip lining, white water rafting and exploring adventures. Woodland Park is a nicer slower paced Colorado town and this cabin is conveniently located to everything. The outdoor patio and fireplace were by far our favorite things about the property. Neighbors are close by, but it's very quiet and people respect each others privacy. The only negative thing to mention is the park has water conservation guidelines and can sometimes run out of water, mainly on busy Holiday weekends. Thankfully that only happened on our last night. My tall husband adjusted quickly to a doorway and my kids loved their loft space with the lower ceilings. In fact, they didn't want to leave. Gwen was a wonderful host and organized each room with everything we could need during our stay. We enjoyed our time preparing meals in the kitchen and hanging as a family. While eating with the tray tables, we talked or watched our home baseball team. We sometimes woke up to deer walking on the hill outside our door and topped off the evening with a dip in the hot tub taking in the mountain air. One thing we learned to do differently in the tiny home was doing laundry at bedtime. The unit would shake the floor of the bedroom and could be felt in the loft as well. We did laundry earlier in the day and all was well. Cozy family time was spent in the tiny home and visiting close attractions like Pike's Peak and Garden of the Gods.
