Within walking distance to restaurants and just minutes from trails, downtown, Old Colorado City, the zoo and more! You will absolutely love our comfortable bungalow! Colorado Springs STR Permit #1366. The space ➜ 2 blocks to local eateries and a park ➜ Five minute drive to Stratton Open Space, Cheyenne Canyon, & the Broadmoor. Close to I-25 and a short drive to Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, Olympic Training Center, World Arena, the Zoo and much more! ➜ Covered front Patio with rocking chairs ➜ Fully loaded kitchen ➜ Fast WiFi ➜ 24 Hour Keyless Entry ➜ TV in living room w/ Netflix & local channels ➜ Cleaned/sanitized thoroughly between guests ABOUT THE BUNGALOW... Front Porch --- The first thing you will find when you arrive at the bungalow is a covered porch with rocking chairs, ready for a relaxing chat with friends and family. You'll enter the front door with a unique keyless entry code. Living Room -- Inside the front door, you'll find a a large window giving you the perfect light to read. If movies are more your style, the living room boasts a television with Roku and local channels and a cozy electric fireplace. Bedrooms -- There are three bedrooms in total. Two bedrooms with queen beds are located off the living room. The first bedroom features a Lucid memory foam mattress for those that like a stiffer bed, the back bedroom has a softer mattress. The third bedroom is located just through the kitchen and features one full size bed. This room also has some toys for children. Each bed has four pillows of various stiffness for optimum comfort. All three bedrooms surround the single bathroom with two access doors. The fourth bed is the queen sized memory foam pull-out couch in the living room. Dining Room -- Off of the living room, you will find a dining room with a dining table that seats six but can be expanded for more. Kitchen-- You will find a fully loaded kitchen with everything you will need to cook meals during your stay. We will have tea, coffee, cream, hot cocoa & sugar available. The bungalow kitchen is also loaded up with pots, pans, bowls, a strainer, utensils, fridge, gas range and oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender and a kettle. Salt and pepper are in shakers on the shelves under the cabinets. Cleaning supplies and extra trash bags are under the sink. There is a broom, dustpan and mop next to the fridge. Bathroom -- We leave at least one bath towel and wash-cloth per guest, plus a couple of extras. We provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, q-tips, cotton balls, cotton rounds and a few extra rolls of toilet paper for guests. A hair dryer, first aid kit and other bath products are available in the cabinet next to the sink. The bathroom is in the center of the home and is accessible through two of the bedrooms. Guest Access -- Guests will have exclusive access to the entire home and front yard. A unique keycode will be sent to guests on the day of arrival. Parking -- The bungalow has STREET PARKING ONLY. The neighbor to the North has a driveway, please do not park there. Up to two cars can park directly in front of the house, facing the South, between the neighbor's driveway to the North and the other neighbor's hedge to the south. Remote Working -- High speed WIFI is available and the table in the dining room is perfect for using as a large workspace. Cleaning -- Cleaning and disinfecting are our top priority and we are committed to having a clean space for you and your family. Everything from linens to highly touched areas are cleaned thoroughly between guests. NO Smoking/Vaping Inside -- Smoking, in accordance with Colorado law, is permitted outside on the patio. Please properly dispose of cigarette butts. Smoking anything (tobacco, marijuana, vaping) inside the home is NOT PERMITTED - loss of security deposit will occur. There is another house on the premises. They have their own private fenced in yard and ally parking. Every inch of the house creaks. No one’s fault. Just how the house was built but it would be nice to note for those who travel with light sleepers as you can hear it throughout the house. 2.We did notice that the front door lock didn’t seem to be auto locking as instructed after 30 seconds. Sometimes it eventually locked itself, other times it did not. Solution=manually lock it the same way you unlocked it. 3\. Exterior area pictures not what we found upon getting to the house. Excessive spiderwebs on front porch, back yard is very overgrown, non existent lawn chairs and hammock in shreds on the ground. The bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, and living room were exactly as pictured and very comfortable/clean to reside on a vacation. 4\. No air conditioning, only a swamp cooler, which honestly worked GREAT, but should be disclosed. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, super close to ivywild school and pretty much everything else to do in the area which was very convenient. I would recommend this home to anyone, it was a nice stay and very easy to get to restaurants and shops. However, it is 115 years old and definitely has some sort of allergen going on inside. The bedding was clean, as was the bathroom but I have never had an allergic reaction to a building until this place. If you do not have allergies to dust or mold, it’s perfect. Teresa was very responsive leading up to and during our trip and provided excellent recommendations of things to explore in the area. The home was warm, clean, cozy and had all we could ask for; tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. It is nicely located close to basically all that CS has to offer. Teresa was amazing. She responded quickly to every question and her house was perfect. Great kitchen and dining room. Lots of attention to detail that made it extra special.
