Close to all the great attractions, this house will immediately make you feel right at as you walk through the door! The "Big House" at the Cheyenne Bungalows, built in 1909, was renovated in 2019\. This beautiful and spacious home has everything you need to feel relaxed and comfortable. This spacious home has two stories. Upon entering, the living room will be on your left. It includes plenty of space to stretch out and enjoy a movie or sit and catch up with friends and family. The large bay window is perfect for enjoying the beautifully landscaped yard and daily wildlife visits! The living room opens up into the dining room with seating for 8\. To the right of the entrance is the Queen Bedroom which includes a small closet, dresser, and a lovely view of the front yards. Walk straight ahead into the kitchen and family room area. The family room includes a gas fireplace, dining area, and comfortable couch with queen-sized pull-out bed. From the family room, you can access the laundry room with complimentary laundry soap and fabric softener sheets, or walk out onto the side deck with seating for 4! It is the perfect place to sit and watch your pup play in the yard or your children swing on the tire swing! Please note the yard is not fully fenced but does include a safe dog run. The kitchen has a brand new stovetop, microwave, and oven and it is fully stocked with all the necessary utensils, cookware, and spices you may need. The Cuisinart Coffee Center is the best part! Start your morning off right with complimentary coffee or tea! Walk upstairs to find the King Master Suite and bath to the left of the stairs. The King Master Suite includes a large closet and a dresser for storing your items, a private 3/4 bathroom as well as your own private coffee bar with complimentary coffee and tea. To the right of the stairs, you will enter the King Bedroom. This bright room has views of the property below, a large closet, and a dresser. Also at the top of the stairs to the right is the Queen Bedroom with great views of the mountains. It has a queen-sized bed, a large closet, and a desk area perfect for those who may need to work remotely! Are you traveling with multiple families or business associates? The living/dining area was a great place for us to all hang out. But if you wanted a little me time, the den was the place to get comfy and read or take a nap. This house suited our needs perfectly, everyone had their own room, plenty of room to go about our business, the kitchen was well-equipped, and John was a great communicator. The reason for the 4-stars is that the upstairs a/c just couldn’t keep up. Granted, we were there during 90 days, which are not common, but even with every unit going full blast at a good temperature couldn’t keep up with making sleeping comfortable. Nights upstairs - and upstairs only! - were not good. The bed, pillows, decor, linens - were comfy and all the right things were in place for a perfect weekend - but the upstairs a/c needs a tune up or overhaul. We will definitely stay with these owners again, all of the information we could possibly need for our visit is literally spelled out, making it perfect for my Type-A personality! ##### Emily R. We had 6 adults stay at the property, and everyone had their own space, which was nice. The downstairs living area had plenty of room when we had visitors over, the seating is very well-thought out and spacious. We loved the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and the outdoor space was beautiful and made for a great backdrop for our pre-wedding photos. The location of the property was close to Old Colorado City and downtown Colorado Springs. The owners are amazing and very responsive to any questions that we had during our stay. Highly recommend this property for a large family outing or get together with friends. ##### wendy T. The house was spacious yet still felt cozy and welcoming. It was so nice to have an outdoor space for the kids to explore. The hosts are very detail-oriented and thought of everything. I really appreciated the electronic guidebook they sent after we booked with lots of great information - we referred to it many times. The quality of everything in this house was top-notch, too - from the furniture and the appliances, down to even the cookware and utensils. You can tell that the owners take a lot of pride in their home and want guests to have a great experience. The location is great as well - not too far from anything. It's a quick 2-minute trip to get groceries and only about 15-20 minutes to Garden of the Gods. Very close to the zoo and beautiful nature trails as well! We definitely hope to book this home again next time we visit C. Springs! ##### Kathryn S.
