Location was good overall for what we needed. We traveled as 2 couples and had 2 kids under 10 with us. Plenty of space overall. 20 min from the army base and 20 min to the Cheyenne mountain zoo and Garden of the Gods. Property owners were very responsive and communicative when a need arose. House is a little bit older but maintained well and clean. Had all the basics needed for the weekend in terms of cleaning supplies and linens. I think the only downside for us was the yard for our kids. Living in CO I know how hard it can be for yards and given it's a rental I wasn't surprised necessarily. There was a nice wood fire pit and a few chairs but mostly just sand/weeds for yard so not the greatest for the kids to play in. There was a park close by though with a splash pad and play area. the house doesn't have Central A/C, but had a window unit upstairs and swamp cooler downstairs. It was beautiful decorated and was by far the cleanest vacation house I’ve ever started in, and was fully stocked with everything you need, including paper bags for groceries. ##### Amber D.
