This is a beautiful log cabin nestled on 10 acres right outside Woodland Park city limits. Enjoy spectacular views of America's Mountain, Pikes Peak! The spacious cabin is completely decorated with a Colorado feeling and furnished for pure comfort. It features three bedrooms and an additional recreational room with a queen size Murphy bed, fold out couch with full size bed, pool table, office nook, gas fireplace, and access to the hot tub. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, sitting area, access to the outdoor deck, a full size bathroom with granite countertops, and even its own washer and dryer! One of the downstairs bedrooms features two twin beds, nightstand, lamp, and log bench at the end of the bed. The other downstairs bedroom has a full size bed, dresser, nightstand, and desk with chair. The downstairs bathroom is a full bath with a tub/shower combo, toilet, and two vanities. Also located downstairs is a full size washer and dryer. The kitchen is fully open and equipped with high-end appliances to include: an induction cooktop, refrigerator, convection microwave, oven, dishwasher as well as all the essentials you need to prepare great meals. There is dining seating to accommodate 14 people. The living room has log furniture with Western decor, wood burning fireplace, large screen TV with satellite reception, piano, and spectacular view of Pikes Peak! There is also a half bath located on the main floor near the kitchen and living room areas. There is a big deck located off the living room to accommodate guests or friends. The backyard patio area is a must see! Amenities include a natural gas grill, hot tub, lighted water feature, curtained pergola with gas fire pit, and 10 acres of Mountain land that surround you. There is also a pickleball court on site. Things to know: Free WiFi Full kitchen Parking notes: There is free parking available for 5 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. We had mule deer outside our windows daily, and one came right up to the window and door. The beds were all comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub, piano, outdoor fire, and back porch swing. It was relaxing and also was only a 30 minute drive to Garden of the Gods, US Olympic museum, Airforce Academy, Pikes Peak, Manitou Incline. Everything was clean. Some of the pots and pans are getting a little old and there weren’t a lot of cups, but nothing to deter us from wanting to come back. We had a great stay! ##### Jessica H. The views are amazing - Pikes Peak is perfectly framed in the living room windows. Same from the deck. The hammock swing on the deck was awesome. We'll definitely be purchasing one of our own as soon as we find a place!! Plenty of wildlife in the area, with deer coming right up to the dining room window and peering in! Very peaceful and quiet at night. The perfect getaway from town. Close to trails for hiking/biking. Really loved it. I'd give it 11/10 if I could. It offers a large, open comfortable space with most of the comforts of home to make it hard to leave. The views were AMAZING. The hot tub, fire pit and fire place made our stay cozy and relaxing. A few things I believe need to be addressed...First, the fridge leaks water. It varied from a little to a lot and was troublesome for our groceries stored inside. Secondly, the kitchen is due for updated pots and pans. The ones available are ok but not great for people like us who cooked almost every meal at home. Lastly, the cleanliness of the house was fine but not great. There were smudges and fingerprints all of the windows, tv and patio doors. There was visible dirt, dust and hair under furniture and in bathrooms. It would have been nice to have access to cleaning supplies to allow us to keep it up while we stayed. Missing some thing's though... towels smelled pretty bad, there we no cleaning products at all! So when you cook dinner or breakfast there was nothing to clean the countertops or stove top. We are clean freaks some what and like to clean up after ourselves daily. WIFI was awful! We brought a laptop to play a family online game and it would log in to the wifi for 5 or so minutes and then log off. This happened every night we tried to log in. We contacted them and they walked us through the regular process of resetting the router but it didn't help. Regardless of all this, we probably would come back to this very property again.
