Guests will have exclusive access to the entire cabin, including the private outdoor space, parking area, and hot tub. We can be reached by phone and the maintenance man is available if needed. Near hiking trails Private parking out front. We are a dog-friendly house. We allow a maximum of 2 dogs. There is a $25 fee per dog. Dogs must stay off all furniture. The owner is required to pick up waste in the yard. Dog bags are provided. If they are left alone, they must be in a crate. Read house rules for more info. No Smoking of any kind inside the cabin. Please use the designated containers provided for disposal. High fire warnings are in place—ensure any ash is fully extinguished. Septic System: Please only flush toilet paper (no wipes even if they say “flushable”) in the toilets. Avoid putting grease down the drains. Water Use: Mountain water is safe to drink directly from the faucet. Please conserve water when possible. Heating and Cooling If your cabin has a thermostat please make sure to keep the heater on during winter months to avoid pipes freezing. Cabins do not have AC but fans can be used to cool the cabin during the summer months. Safety Features Fire Extinguisher: Located in the kitchen under the sink. Smoke Detectors and Carbon Monoxide Detectors are installed for your safety. Kitchen Supplies Essential items are included for the use of our guests. Please use them with respect and notify the manager if an item is accidentally damaged so we can replace the items for the next guest. Pets Dogs are welcome but should not be left unattended inside the cabin or should be put in crates upon departure. No pets on furniture or beds. Always clean up after your dog and dispose of waste in the outside trash bins. $50 charge for excessive dog hair or damages. The bedrooms are on either side of the home - the king bedroom with an attached bathroom, and the other bedrooms with one right across the hall. There is not a lot of storage space. The bedrooms have closets but not dressers. Green Mountain Falls is a cute town with good restaurants. We enjoyed the food at Cantina Verde. We were not able to try the Pantry, but we heard it was good. We loved walking to town usually seeing many deer along the way. The cabin is centrally located for many local attractions. We had issues with the king bed, which were taken care of quickly by calling management. We were satisfied with the correction made. The queen bed is quite noisy with any movement and should be looked at. Do not leave food outside as there is quite a bit of bear activity at night. The multiple bathrooms and bedrooms were nice and the Roku & WiFi were great perks that worked well.However, there were some things that made our stay uncomfortable. My wife and I were on our honeymoon and were hoping for a little bit more. In no particular order of inconvenience; the master bedroom mattress had a MASSIVE divot in the middle, making it an uncomfortable sleep. The pillows were limp. The ceiling fan wobbled a lot and the blades were caked in dust. Both showers were a bit dirty and the grill out back was disgusting - the temperature gauge was also broken.All of the windows were unlocked upon arrival, and one of the bathroom windows was OPEN when we first got there. The fan always needing to be on was quite annoying as it was very loud. The property also lists air conditioning, but it’s not CENTRAL AIR, rather box fans and a stand up AC unit.The water dispenser in the fridge flowed incredibly slowly as well. The remote to the living room ceiling fan didn’t work either. The kitchen was stocked well with utensils and cookware, and the host leaving a basket of granola bars was a nice touch. Overall, we would not stay here again but see the appeal. ##### Lou S. The other two rooms, the beds are squeaky. Ice maker and water dispenser on the fridge are slow. It says to replace filter so that might be why? First day some guy came walking up the back stairs by the hot tub right when I was near the window so that was freaky. The next day, I woke up to a guy mowing and/or weed eating right outside the master bedroom. Kinda creepy. The cabin was better stocked than most rentals we’ve stayed at, especially the kitchen. The only drawback was something other reviews have mentioned for 2-3 years: it’s time to upgrade the beds. The mattresses are not super comfy and are very creaky. Could use a new toilet seat, too, and a few additional towels if the full guest capacity is making use of the hot tub and showers. Overall fantastic, and we would definitely stay again for a 2-3 night trip (but probably not a longer trip due to the beds). ##### Elisa E. Wow - the name says it all. So much time was spent and enjoyed on the front porch taking in the lovely view and enjoying the birds at the feeders as well as daily deer visitors. You can also hear the nearby creek rushing by. The house is equipped with all you need for cooking or hanging out. The hot tub also has an incredible view and was nice during a chilly morning or after a long hike. Primary bed is super comfy. Walk to town!! Walk to hiking trailhead. Enjoyed the pup welcome basket with bowls, treats, toys, etc. There is a nice green space for the pups to quickly take care of business. The host was extremely responsive to a few special requests.
