Located just east of Colorado Springs in a quiet, suburban neighborhood, there are plenty of open skies, lots of peace & quiet, and shopping & dining nearby. The Space: All of the most well-known area attractions are still just about 30 minutes away, and this home presents a solid value proposition to the visitor and guest—a unique, functional location for less! With plenty of space to eat, sleep, play, rest & even park your car … this one’s easy! Pull up into the private driveway, park in the (3!) car garage and enter through the front door using the private electronic key-code given to you at check-in. You’ll open the door to a wide, bright, welcoming space with an open-concept design. The living room features a comfortable couch, a great TV and a foosball table, perfect for the young or the young-at-heart. Just beyond you’ll notice the dining room, with seating for 8\. The kitchen, just beyond the dining room, is wide and expansive, perfect for entertaining. We all know that when family and friends are together, everyone ends up close to the food, and this is a great, functional environment in homage to that! And with quality stainless steel appliances, a separate gas range, wide, quality cabinetry, Corian countertops, open space and natural light, this kitchen is ready for some serious cooking! The Neighborhood: Peyton, Colorado is just about 15 minutes east of Colorado Springs and as the Pikes Peak Region grows, this area has become more and more vibrant, with development on the rise and some exceptional, brand new amenities for residents and visitors and guests alike. There’s plenty of shopping & dining opportunities here including some pretty notable spots just up the road from this home including Jak’s brewing, the Purple Toad, and the Creek View Grill at the Antler Creek Golf Course. While being just a few minutes away from Colorado Springs, the area is nonetheless easy to access and all of the best-known attractions are easily accessible too — Places like Garden of the Gods, the Broadmoor, the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, the Air Force Academy, Manitou Springs and Old Colorado City are all just about 30 minutes away by car. This area might not be the first that travelers look to for their vacation rentals, but we think that maybe they should! For those willing to drive just a bit more, there’s value here and maybe a short-term rental hidden gem or two, and the mountain views still abound, with unobstructed views of Pikes Peak, “America’s Mountain” and the entire Rocky Mountain Front Range looming just in the distance. Getting Around: We recommend that you have a car or use Uber or Lyft when traveling in Colorado Springs and surrounding areas. The description does not do this property justice. All bedrooms are upstairs , one step to get into the home and one step to get into the living area (consideration for mobility issues). Keyless entry, spacious garage. Master was massive, with sitting area, sofa and 2 large wall in closets and extra large bathroom. Extremely clean and well supplied with linen. Great home for entertaining and keeping busy (hot tub, pool table, Foosball, downstairs area). Although the sofa size was awesome, I did recommend getting new sofas due to sinking too low and lack of support. Need are relatively firm of that's an issue for you.
