This upbeat 3-bed, 1-bath home offers more than just pleasant accommodations. Special thought has gone into making this a FUN place to stay! The backyard has a grill & fire pit, plus outdoor games. A recreation room offers foosball that is convertible to a compact pool table, and slide hockey. There’s a TV in every bedroom. The location is exceptional – check a map! You’re moments from several major roadways that will carry you to everything you’ll want to see in the region. 10 minutes to Ft. Carson and Cheyenne Mountain Park.

This tidy, happy-go-lucky ranch house will cheer you the moment you set eyes on it, with its turquoise door, shutters and awning. A concrete walkway leads from the street to the front door, and another path connects the front door with the gravel driveway, which ends beneath a retro carport to keep your vehicle clean and dry.

Step through the front door and find yourself in an open, attractive common room with living and dining areas, decorated with elegant and comfortable modern furniture and a soothing color palette.

The living area is perfect for long conversations and family movie nights, with a large wall-mounted TV opposite a sofa and loveseat clustered around a coffee table.

On the other end of the room, you’ll find a lovely dining table with seating for 6. The dining area is entirely open to the kitchen with an unobstructed view between rooms.

This is a kitchen where you can really roll up your sleeves and indulge your inner chef! Enjoy a suite of full-size stainless-steel appliances that includes a French door refrigerator with in-door ice and water dispensers, a range with cooktop and oven, microwave, and dishwasher. Be our guest and make use of a complete set of chef’s knives, coffee maker, electric water kettle, toaster, blender, even a slow-cooker! You’ll find plenty of cabinets and ample counter space, plus a double-sided sink.

Just off of the dining room, a laundry area is hidden discreetly behind a set of folding doors, with a full-size washer and dryer, iron, ironing board, and garment steamer. If you’ve got to look good where you’re going, this home has you covered.

Everyone in your party will find a tranquil place to rest or spend some “me time”. All three bedrooms are delightfully decorated with contemporary, inviting furniture, and each is appointed with a queen-size bed, ceiling fan, closet, and TV. One bedroom has the added convenience of a desk, chair, and desk lamp – perfect for anyone working during their visit.

The bathroom is warm and pleasantly decorated and includes a sink vanity with storage underneath and a combination tub/shower.

Special thought has gone into making this home a FUN place to stay! Follow us into the back yard and we’ll show you what we mean. You can access the fully-fenced yard two ways: through a gate at the back of the carport, or from the back door in the kitchen.

Grill and chill, night or day! It’s a short walk from the kitchen to the grill outside, and you have the choice of sitting under the covered patio, or in a circle around the cozy fire pit. Six Adirondack chairs stand ready to accommodate everyone in your group. Feel like playing a game? From the back door under the covered patio, step into the recreational room! Keep kids (or grown-ups) busy for hours! There’s a foosball table that converts into a mini pool table, and slide hockey game all-in-one, as well as a bar-height table and two stools for enjoying snacks or meals. If you’re in the mood for a bean bag toss, you’ll find game boards in the yard, too.

Hotel-grade linens are professionally laundered after every visit. This home is managed by a local vacation rental specialist, and there’s a sense of quality and care that’s worthy of your 5-star review.

🔑 Check-in Process
All guests will need to complete our secure, online ID Verification process to receive the door code and check-in instructions. Similar to hotels requiring photo ID upon check-in, we ask that guests provide a copy of their Government Issued ID, matching selfie and credit card to verify identity. This is used to prevent fraudulent reservations, identity verification and for the safety of all guests and homes. We take data security very seriously. All information entered into this form is encrypted and transmitted securely over SSL. By completing the reservation you agree to the following:
1. I agree to be bound by our rental terms and conditions.
2. I acknowledge that I will be required to provide a copy of a valid government issued ID and matching credit card through our online portal prior to check in.

Although the home doesn't have central AC our evenings in this region are generally cool in the summer time, simply opening the windows will provide natural coolness. There are 2 window AC units - one in the living room and one in the back bedroom.

📢 Reminders About the Property
-Please review the sleeping arrangements prior to booking.
-Please keep all trash secure in the bins. Do not leave any trash out overnight for your safety and the surrounding active wildlife in the city's area.
-We do not have onsite maintenance or cleaning unlike hotels but all requests will be taken care of ASAP.

📢 Non-Refundable Damage Deposit Waiver
-Instead of charging a security deposit, we charge a non-refundable damage waiver fee (See Rental Agreement for a detailed breakdown of our guest fees)
that covers up to $2,500 for damage to real or personal property of the vacation rental property as a result of your acts or omissions. Please see house rules or the rental property agreement when you book for more information about how the damage waiver works. Because the damage waver fee is Non-Refundable; If a Guest changes properties for any reason they may be charged a new damage waver fee for the new property at the discretion of the property Manager.

Reunion with daughter and her family

Things went well. The power did go iut twice due to breaker triping. We went to the box and reset it. It will only get weaker every time this happens. We refilled used items. Clean towels were in the dryer.

Wonderful house

It was a perfect little house for my husband, mother in law and I to stay while visiting our military family that recently relocated here! House was clean and comfortable! Definitely will stay here again in our future visits!

Close to Fort Carson.

The house at 3533 Chimayo Drive Colorado Springs Colorado was exactly how it was presented in the photographs. We had problems. Most were resolved before we left The house was filthy. I called 719-344-9974 and spoke to someone. He was very polite as I explained the situation. He asked me to take pictures -I did and sent to him. At 7:30pm he informed me a cleaning crew could not come until morning. I had to buy cleaning supplies /clean house before unpacking. Very comfortable. Will stay here again.
