Super conveinent to stay here when coming off the ferry for a visit. It is very clean. Not fancy. The price is fantastic! I was scheduled to travel with a friend but ended up coming solo-- they actually lowered the rate of my room! Super friendly staff. Happy I stayed there.

Good low cost option
Good low cost option within walking distance to old town. Bed was comfortable, A/C was good and shower was also good. We were only there for one night but due to the layout of the hotel noise travels quite easily. You can cleary here the rattle of cutlery and glasses at about 7am in preparation for breakfast. It didn't bother us as we were awake at that time anyway.

Highly recommended.
Very friendly staff. Well located near bus terminal and the old town in a quiet area. Good bed and shower; breakfast basic but good. Very clean and well maintained. Very good value for expensive Colonia.

Great Hotel
Very nice hotel, stayed here for 4 nights. Very close to ferry port and bus terminal, close to town centre and shops and the beach. Hotel very clean, fresh towels each day. Excellent filling breakfast, you're given a big basket of rolls, croissants, cakes and crackers. Friendly staff and nice spacious room with some English TV channels. Many thanks.

Such a lovely hotel! I highly recommend this place! It’s close to the old city and also the Main Street! Everything is within close walking distance! Safe, hospital, great to stay here to explore Colonia

Clean, friendly and pleasant, steps from old city
Romi Hotel was extremely clean and very pleasant. Staff were friendly and helpful. It is an easy walk from the bus station, ferry, and colonial sites. Recommend 100 percent.

Good value and location in Camino de Sacramento.
I paid $39.00 per night in March 2019. Clean room in a good location near boat and bus terminals and easy walk to the historic old City. Many rooms are small. I lucked out with a big nice room. Minimal breakfast but pleasant small breakfast room.

Good place to stay and good value for money.
Great location, bit of a rabbit warren setup but good value for money, leaks a bit when it rains but they had it under control. Overall though very good stay and location is perfect.

Overall not bad.
Hotel was good for what you pay. Can be a lucky draw as far as the room you get. Not all rooms are equal, some rooms have no windows and there is no elevator so could be issue with elderly guest. Location is good staff are excellent and breakfast whilst not a great variety was good. Overall a pleasant stay.

A good value well located.
Stayed only one night. The main room is rather small with little space to place one's luggage or to move about, which by far is this hotel's biggest negative. The double bed was excellent. A refrigerator (not within the room but nearby) was available to be shared by all guests. The bathroom was outstanding and exceptionally clean with very hot water. Parking the vehicle was not a problem. If you're price conscious, this is a good choice.

This is more of a 2-star then a 3-star hotel, but great value for the price (also a good backup if other options are sold out). My stay was smooth, everything worked in the room, but don't expect any luxury or modern stuff. A good example is the room key - it's an old-fashioned metal key, not a card. No safe in the room, and the water heater is right in your shower stall. Breakfast is super-simple - just bread and jam, plus coffee and orange juice. It's 10 minute walk to the old city, and less than 5 to the bus and ferry terminals. Great choice if you are on a budget and staying for one night. For anything else I'd look for something closer to the old town.

Lovely boutique hotel near the Old Town.
I really liked this place. Clean, friendly, simple, and perfectly priced. Walking distance from the Barrio Historica and a short drive to the Rambla beaches and other sites of interest. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is in a old building. The room had no window. The TV is an old 13" with not many channels. The breakfast is very simple. One basket of bread. They had a problem processing my credit card payment. It went through normal. I signed the receipt, but the front desk clerk insisted it was not working. The second day they ask for my credit card again. They processed it one more time. It went through, but they said they didn't get the money. After 40 minutes of calling and discussion (their English skills were limited), I needed to pay cash to check out of the hotel. Now I have two charges on my credit card for the same date I stayed. I paid triple for one night stay!!! This happen one-and-half-months ago. I just came home. I'm really surprised that they expect the triple payment. Does the bookkeeping work?

Ideal location in Colonia
Myself and 2 buddies decided on a last minute trip to Colonia. We found a triple (3 single beds) at a reasonable rate and booked it. The hotel was easy to find. Front desk staff was friendly and spoke some English. Free breakfast with decent coffee. Wifi. Room was rather small and not much extra space but the room was still good value.

Love colonia!!!
I loved my room. It was huge, he a tiny balcony that opens up to the street (only two rooms have that I think). The staff didn't speak much English if any!!! The shower hot water wasn't working :(

There might be quiet rooms at this hotel, but we didn't get one. Instead we were in one of two at the very front on either side of the entrance. So, if it wasn't the roar of motorcycles and gold buggies speeding up the street, we were awakened by other guests coming and going. Also, our room didn't get housekeeping service. And, the breakfast was bare-bones continental.

Budget hotel close to ferry terminal
Despite its relatively simple breakfast, this hotel had all the basics for a budget solo male traveller like me. There was a clear value for the price.

Good Budget Hotel
This place is a budget hotel. The staff does not speak english but try hard. They tried so hard to be helpful. We speak only a little spanish but were able to get by. The room was clean and quiet and worth the $42 we paid. Breakfast is typical continental. This hotel is five min walk from the bus terminal and six min to ferry. Also short walk to several golf cart rental places. Definitely recommend renting a cart to see the town.
