It was a great location with a lovely sea view from the rooms. My family and I had visited Colombo only for a day. This 5 stars is a new building with modern facilities . We booked half board and the food were delicious with great choices. Hotel staff were professional and courteous all the time and bend over backwards to ensure all our needs were met. Special mentioned to Yohan @ Colombo Kitchen. One Galle Face Mall is a short tuk-tuk drive or a pleasant walk in the evening. There is a supermarket & bank next to hotel. These are extra charges at exorbitant mark up, and if you ask for a taxi at the hotel, their prices are at the extreme end. I needed a taxi, 10 mins ride, the hotel said the price was Sri Lankan rupees SLR 5000, whereas “pick me” charge was less than SLR 300\.
