Blue Mountain Resort Village Suites

10/10 Excellent

"The room is great and has everything you need for cooking, including an ice machine in the hallway, which comes super handy. The activities were great, so were the restaurants and the convenience store. Checking in was super slow. The shuttle to the beach was slow, and when it was full, we had to wait for more than 30 minutes for the next one, which was really hard for the kids in the extreme heat. My son got really sick waiting. But the private beach is absolutely the highlight. Worth going. The biggest inconvenience was the elevator. We stayed at the Seasons, one of the two elevators didn't work the entire time. And the other one broke during one day of our 4-day trip. The capacity was also super small, so even when that one elevator was working, we couldn't fit in. So took the stairs during most of our trip. We managed, but what about folks who can't climb stairs? Also, the service staff used the only elevator that worked. Well, they didn't have another option. So getting into the elevator with a cart of dirty towels and sheets on a 33-degree summer day was extremely unpleasant to say the least. Highly recommend the hotel to invest in a more modern elevator. Overall, absolutely worth the trip. Many activities for kids and adults. Could easily spend one week there at the village."

"A nice Hotel - clean rooms and good bathroom. I liked that it was still right in Collingwood but much quieter area than being close to Blue Mountain area, which gets super busy in the summer. There is also a great 1-hour loop walk right across the street almost from the Hotel, which takes you right along the beautiful Georgian Bay inner harbour area."
