We recently stayed with my family and had a wonderful stay!! The rooms are comfortable and have a great charm to them. The staff and owner were just amazing! Always asking how our stay is going and offering to provide suggestions on where to go for wine tasting and what to see. I highly recommend staying at this hotel!

Watch the parking!!
There is 1 space in a busy town to park while you unload, this was full. We were told to park in a square a few minutes walk away (I never knew it was a market place,) 2 days later there was a market and my car got towed! €130 later and 2 hours I got my car back. Do not trust the staff when they say you can park there. Room was small. Bathroom handle was dropping off. There was no hot option at breakfast, only boiled eggs if you make them yourself. Positives Cakes were left out first day for all to help themselves. It’s a great position if you’re careful where you park and don’t listen to the staff!

We loved this charming hotel in the lovely Villeneuve-les-Avignon. It is not super fancy, but it has character. We particularly liked the rooftop area to sit and have a glass a wine.

So good we extended our stay
What a wonderful stay! The decor is tastefully curated, with charming outdoors areas. There is no restaurant on site, but plenty of great options within 1-5 min walk. The staff is friendly and helpful. We had such a great time we decided to extend our stay by another night. Definitely better than some boutique hotels we've stopped at.

Very charming hotel in the old part of Villeneuve-les-Avignon. Great location to walk to local sights and dining, and easy public transport to Avignon over the river. The rooms were perfectly decorated for the style and location of the hotel, and we enjoyed our stay immensely. The manager of the hotel was extremely helpful and we were able to get parking nearby easily.

Fantastic small hotel in Villeneuve-les-Avignon! Like staying in a family home in old France. Beautifully furnished, a wonderful Salon, outdoor walled garden and a delicious breakfast with fresh pastries every morning. Hotel staff is gracious, friendly and extremely helpful. Hotel is located within a five minute walk to cafes, a bakery and market. A bus stop nearby for Avignon proper is convenient with frequent service. Probably the best hotel stay we have ever experienced! Intend to return often!

A perfect stay
This hotel is an oasis from the noise and bustle of the city. It is in an old structure made livable and home-like. The staff are wonderfully helpful and friendly. The surrounding neighborhood is filled with fabulous restaurants and the Thursday morning market is every good thing you’ve ever read about the markets in Provence.

Charming location in the old town. Very quiet. Attentive staff give a warm, personal touch. The staff all speak reasonably good English, which is very helpful for non-French speakers. The manager gave several fantastic suggestions for sites to see, and a library of tourist reference material is available. The breakfast was superb and nutritious.

We stayed only one night but would come back to stay longer! Such a beautiful and quaint hotel that is very cozy and picturesque. The front desk was very nice and accommodating. Fresh pastries and teas on the main floor were a wonderful touch. Beautiful courtyard. Rooms were clean and comfortable. You will be hauling your luggage up stairs to get to your rooms, so I was glad I only had a carry-on sized bag. I loved how this property was adjacent to the busy, central part of town, with so many cute restaurants and shops within walking distance. An easy cab ride to town. Loved this hotel!!

The staff is so helpful and friendly. Tea, coffee and treats are available in a very comfortable sitting room. We got a little bit larger family room with an extra bed this time and enjoyed a little more space. Our last room for two was pretty tiny. Excellent location near many excellent restaurants: Salamander, Aunergine, The Cave for steak and cute shops.

Villeneuve-lès-Avignon Paradise
This hotel was the highlight of our Provence trip. The owner and the staff couldn’t have been more attentive. They are generous on their servings. The location of the hotel is perfec for both local and for day trips. There’s a map on the wall with recommend place for those like us who do road trips. We stayed 3 nights and wanted to stay longer. We felt part of the family! The breakfast served is extra but economic and overflowing and a delicious way to start the day. Cookies and tea in the lobby at all times. They sell the best jams too. A true oasis in the middle of a hectic city. Walking distance to St André gardens. We were so lucky to find heaven on Avignon!

Amazingly perfect location, a hotel with character and an incredibly friendly staff. Loved the perfect location in The Provence and near Avignon. Wonderfully balanced hotel. Has character and charm. Comfortable spacious rooms and s wonderful breakfast. Courtyard and terrace in the back is second to none. Can't wait to return!

The hotel is great! We have arrive before the check in time, but they let us check in our rooms when we arrived, as the room is already available at that time. They have a paid private parking area if you prefer to park in a safe please, just ask the reception and they will arrange for you.

A gem in a sweet town next to Avignon
Charming hotel! We had a deluxe room category that was spacious. Very clean and comfortable and well appointed, with lovely personal touches. Shower was great....good pressure and plenty of hot water. This was a great find. Down the street from several restaurants and plazas in Villaneuve. On Thursdays and Saturdays there is a large, busy, wonderful public market down the street. The town is about a 40 minute walk from Avignon. Can find plenty of parking in Avignon at the garage at the main square though. Maylis at the front desk was wonderful! Very helpful and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Old world charm!
Staying at this authentic 16th century hotel was such a treat. We only stayed two nights, but loved every moment of it. Being surrounded by antiques, stone walls, rooftop terrace, outdoor patio gave this hotel such character. It felt like we stepped back in time, except with all the modern conveniences. The room was so comfortable, clean and welcoming. The morning breakfast they provide is not to be missed, they even provide complimentary tea, coffee and cookies in the sitting room. The staff were amazing, so helpful and kind. Including Ratatouille, the house cat. we would definitely recommend this hotel and was a highlight of our vacation.

Old-fashioned hospitality at its best
A really charming place - an old house with lots of cute nooks and two beautiful courtyards - on a quiet square in a village just over the river from Avignon (a 20-minute bus ride or a 10-minute drive). The owner/manager is perhaps the most wonderful person in the service industry we've ever met: always ready to help, always kind and smiling, and always going that extra little bit that makes you feel really well taken care of (from nice cookies in the living room, and homemade jams at breakfast - interesting flavors: lemon, nectarine - to excellent tips on logistics. Our room was very large and the bed was super-comfortable. We were really happy here.

Lovely Stay
The gentleman who I guess is the host, is very friendly, helpful and thoughtful. He gave lots of advice and always smile and polite. The hotel associates with a car park but he told us to park in the tourist centre which is free and only few minutes away. We have a car so it is only about 10 mins drive to the Avignon city centre, so very convenient. The hotel itself is a lovely building with big rooms and air-con! Therefore it is very good price compared to the average small-sized room in France. The garden is so nice to have a breakfast in. Overall, I highly recommend this comfortable hotel.

Lots of ambiance
The hotel owner greeted us at the door and carried our baggage to our rooms. He was personable, friendly and very accommodating. The building was historic, which was what I was looking for and the facility was well decorated. Free coffee, tea and cookies were always available. There were some lovely extras to the hotel-a small bar, local products were available for purchase and other areas to sit and read the books for guests. The garden and roof top terrace added a nice touch.
