While the staff was very friendly, check in took longer than expected due to computer issues at the front desk. Our room key cards did not work. Went back down to Lobby the have clerk activate them. The breakfast room was not monitored so when coffee ran out it sent patrons scrambling to the machine in the lobby. The front desk person could be heard yelling for the employee. When there was no response, she patrons that the employee must have gone to the little girls room. Not the most professional way to handle that situation. Our room was very clean, but the shower rod was not secured well. It stay on place for the duration of our visit. A few other issues - The ice machine on our floor had the cover missing which exposed wires (see picture) and one of the side exit doors was not functional (no outside slide card entry). Someone had propped the door open. Finally one of the sprinkler heads was missing it's cover (see picture ). I would also suggest to have at least one other garbage can besides the one in the bathroom.

A horrible night in College Station!!!

Posted 13-Dec-2015 on Hotels
When we got to the hotel, they only had one room showing booked. After 10-15 minutes of waiting they finally found our booking. When we got back from eating we went to our rooms, one room was totally not cleaned!!! Beds unmade, dirty towels, and pizza boxes all over the room. So they moved us to another room across the hall, which we didn't get a key that worked. Basically I would NOT RECOMMEND this hotel.

Good hotel for the money

Posted 7-Dec-2015 on Hotels
Overall the hotel and room were clean and comfortable. Service was good no issues. Breakfast was good. The only issue was the room A/C thermostat was not right, had to run temperature lower than normal, 68 degrees. I will plan to stay at this hotel again.

The hotel was called because we were having car trouble and would be late. Even though we prepaid they gave away the room and my husband got stuck in as spare room that had no towels and no lick in the door. Will not stay there again.tild us out money would be refunded but have not seen a credit in card.

This is not a "pet friendly" place.

Posted 22-Nov-2015
Pros: It was clean. The check-in folks were polite.
Cons: Don't charge more than $10-20 for pets. Take out the shower restrictors. Serve better and fresher coffee in the morning.
Location: A&M; President George H.W. Bush Library
Although Expedia and the website both say that this motel is "pet friendly," it charges $75 per pet per day. That's like saying a motel is "kid friendly," but when you prepay and then arrive, they say each kid costs $75 per night. Deceptive. Also the shower has such a tight restrictor on it that the water literally dribbles out. You have to take a bath instead as the water really does come out of the lower faucet. Do not stay here unless you really, really have not other options.
