We immediately opened all windows but didn’t have much luck in airing it out. The place had been cleaned but not thoroughly. There were several dead flies on the windowsills. The furniture was also quite dated and of cheap quality. We attempted contact with the host through the VRBO app requesting either a cancellation/refund or to move but never heard back and were completely ghosted. We finally were able to reach someone the next day after much effort. They moved us to another home that was much nicer. ##### Richard H.
