The master bedroom features a comfortable double bed, while the second bedroom offers two singles, both rooms are light, airy, and tastefully decorated. The original 10 cottage stairs can be difficult for those with mobility issues. Step outside to find a private terrace and lovely garden, a suntrap in the summer and an ideal spot for enjoying your morning coffee or an alfresco glass of wine. Located just a short stroll from the fresh seafood restaurants, pubs, and the island’s beach, the cottage makes a perfect base for exploring Mersea’s unique charm. Don’t miss the local oysters, best enjoyed at the renowned Company Shed, just minutes away. The Mersea Regatta is held every August and is a fun-packed weekend and there is also a food and drink festival.
