Five stars plus. This is a clean, comfortable, and modern house located on Mallet Bay. It is an easy 15-minute drive to downtown Burlington. There is direct access to a small beach, and the owner supplied all the beach accessories. The waters of the bay ripple to the beach and are not very deep along the shore line. This was perfect for our young grandchildren. The room sizes are large, and the beds are comfortable. The 5 year old enjoyed sleeping on the bunk bed above his parents’ bed. The view from the back deck is very peaceful. The host quickly responded to our requests. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals. We did hear some road noise inside the house, but it did not bother us. We highly recommend this VRBO home and would stay here again.

Gorgeous lakefront home

The property is fabulous! Great location, awesome views and a gorgeous home that is newly built and furnished. Each room has great views with two large sliding doors in every room. Property is well maintained, host responded quickly to all of our questions and minor problems that arose. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. The beach includes plenty of chairs, SUP and kayaks that our family enjoyed. Everyone in our family asked when are we coming back!

VRBO app issues

The property was wonderful. Our group was large and would have appreciated more supplies being provided but this didn’t deter from the positive experience. Check in and communication was a challenge due to the VRBO app but functioning properly. It took multiple calls and sending screenshots to VRBO to get this fixed. There should be alternative ways to communicate with the property manager when this occurs.

Great Family Stay

Two family's stayed with young children. The property is lovely and the property manager was wonderful. House is really well stocked and the beach is great. The parking is accurately described as two spots and if the houses near by fill up you might lose one of your spots (we did!), so you might want be ready for that.

Incredible stay

Unbelievable property, super clean, very spacious, phenomenal location. Great house all around, right on the lake, private beach, 15 mins to Burlington. Repsonsive hosts, all the amenities required in the house. Perfect stay.

Great for a weekend away

Beautiful property right on the water. Had all the amenities that we could have asked for - propane for the grill, chairs on the beach, and water toys as well. The property was clean and the lodging was extremely comfortable. It was close enough to Burlington to allow for forays into town for food and entertainment. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful 4 bedroom Colchester Lakehouse

Wonderful stay. Spent 4 nights with my family and 2 year old granddaughter. House was very clean and felt brand new. Kitchen was well stocked. Needed a teapot had a Keruig. I like a coffee pot, so I brought my own. View of the bay was beautiful. It was winter so we could not walk on beach. Heat kept us toasty. The 1 bedroom on bottom floor next to laundry was hard to keep warm. Loved the heated bathroom floors! House close to road, so primary bedroom heard some of the cars driving by. Wi-Fi and TV worked well. Fireplace is a digital screen. Looks good though. Very happy with our stay and would hope to return in summer to enjoy the waterfront location.

Colchester Home

This house is absolutely fabulous. Stunning views during Sunrise and a beautiful Sunset. The house was spotless when we arrived. Appliances were all brand new. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our Thanksgiving dinner.
