TV was not working - they did offer another room but that TV did not work. The WiFi would not connect to the internet. Breakfast was supposed to be available 8 to 10, it was not and no one there, no lights and doors lock. Will not stay there again.

The check in lady and her boyfriend or husband were kind of creepy, and the whole place was pretty run down. I think there were only two of us staying in the place, and the other guy came in while I was checking in to complain that the room he was checking into wasn't ready. It hadn't been cleaned yet, and it was 6 o'clock at night. There was no hot water when I tried to take a shower in the morning. You get what you pay for.

I would never recommend anyone to stay there.The clerk tried to help.The computer didn't work so couldn't check in and she was gone when we left the next day. 3 out of the four lights did not work. All They had to make coffee were small plastic cups. The room had a musty smell. The HVAC was inadequate.

Affordable option along the road
Picked it for affordable. Just passing through and for that it was a good value. Very clean room, staff was helpful. Exterior condition not great, so I was a little afraid what the room was going to look like, but it was nice.

I had to cancel my reservation. The hotel manager was rude and told us to leave the property. He was the rudest person I have ever met. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

Strange experience.
Very strange check in experience. I arrived at 10:01 pm and the office was locked with lights off with a sign that stated “no check ins after 10pm”. But fortunately my key was in a box nearby with a receipt. The other reviews about strange open doors, understaffed, one working ice machine and little run down are all true. The room was fine, clean sheets, working ac, hot shower with decent pressure, parking lot well lit and waffles for breakfast. I would probably stay here again.

Not a very nice place, but worked for one night. Refrigerator was full of water. Bathroom needed updating. Couldnt find an ice machine. The one place marked for it had diety laundry and cleaning supplies in it. Booked a king size bed and asked for lower level. Got 2 queens and 2nd floor. Won't stay there again.

disappointing
Arrived after a 7 hour drive to a check in service that was less than pleasant. Parking was not great for a truck and tailor. Bed was uncomfortable, room was warm and wouldn't cool off. The worst part was waking up with bugs crawling on the bathroom counter and in the shower. I had high hopes that this Inn would be a great stop on my way to Denver but I was disappointed.

Basic night sleep.
The owner is absent. The lovely and hard-working couple there run the place alone, 24/7. They are very responsive. The property is somewhat rundown with no ice or vending. We rented two rooms and slept comfortably. The AC worked fine and we used the little fridge and microwave in the room. Got the job done even if I felt deployed again.

This is an older property that is in need of some renovations. The room was clean and beds were good and shower water was hot. However, many of the rooms next to us had doors left open which made feel a little creepy.

Have stayed here before and each time the property seems to be more run down. Front desk staff is always friendly and helpful and they have a 24 hour convenience store that has a good selection of items. Not the nicest or well kept place but I'll stay here again because of the price, location and friendly staff.

Second time staying here while driving across Kansas. It's a fairly run down property. Room was clean and beds were comfortable, though. Breakfast was a bit sparse (waffles, coffee, juice, cereal). I could only find one ice machine that worked on the property. Could tell they're having staffing shortage issues but that's the case everywhere. Will spend the extra money and stay at a newer facility closer to I70 next time.

Staff gave a key to another patron and the walked right into our room and woke us at midnight. Scared us and then our key would not work for the room and we got locked out. No breakfast and nobody to check us out at 8 am. Not happy

I booked this a room at this hotel based on the 4.0 rating on Expedia. When we arrived I already knew that this might be a mistake based on the property appearance. After a 5 minute check-in, the bed linens were on the floor in a pile and there were food containers on the furniture. I returned to the office, the clerk that checked me in was gone and another clerk was there. He was new and had to go get the manager. She sent me to another room, that was in the system as clean, but it was in the same uncleaned condition. I returned to the office a 2nd time and refused to stay. Now after wasting 2 hours of my life trying to get a refund from Expedia, I was offered a $20 coupon. This is because I did not pay extra when booking to be able to get a refund.

I arrived about 9 pm. I was told that the entire cleaning staff had quit the day before, so the rooms were not clean yet. I would have to wait 1-1/2 hours for my room. I went next door to the restaurant to eat. I returned at 10:30 pm. I was told that they didn't know when my room would be ready. Other guests had arrived with families and were told the same thing. The staff that was there were doing the best that they could. No owner or manager in sight. I got a key to a room that I didn't like, but at least it appeared to be clean. That was Saturday night. After I departed the next day, I realized that I had left a pair of pants hanging in the room. I called the hotel several times to ask if they found the pants. When I learned that they found them, I told the person who was speaking to me that I would pay for them to mail me my pants. They said that they do not do that kind of thing. No other response from them.

You get what you pay for.
I used google maps link on my Iphone. I got to Goodland, but the directions were wrong getting to the Rodeway. I had to reenter the location on my phone. There is an error which took me back on 70 to the old, business 24 out of the town and nothing was there. The staff was not ready to check me in when I arrived. Shower had mold stains.

Arrived about 10:30pm to check in, no attendant to be found, waited 20 min. in the lobby before anyone showed, when gentleman arrived he was apologetic as he was from another hotel coming to fill in stating the whole staff had just quit. House keeper came in the office rudely telling him not to accept anymore guests regardless if they had paid reservations or not. Finally got checked in and went to our room to find room had not been cleaned, no sheets or blankets on beds and still trash laying around from previous guests, started to walk up to the front to request a different room and as i walked by several rooms i quickly realized all unoccupied rooms were in the same condition. Looked up to find a different hotel to go to but there were no vacancies elsewhere so we bought sheets from the nearby Walmart and used our own blankets. Terrible experience, definitely would not recommend this place to anyone.

Needs a little TLC
The staff were very nice!!! The room had just been cleaned and looked good but there were a lot of flies in the room and we couldn’t get over how run down the entire place looked, we didn’t feel comfortable staying there so even after paying we went and stayed at a hotel. It doesn’t look like the pictures!

The rooms were clean, but check in was delayed because the hotel had no electricity. Then we had no water in our room until about 9 pm then just a trickle of water from the faucet until after midnight. The staff were apologetic when we went to the office to ask about it and we were told the city was working on it.

Disaster waiting to happen.
Bathroom had not been cleaned. Still had used towel and washcloth hanging on shower rod. Air conditioner control light was only visible in total darkness. 7 inch step up at entrance door is a disaster waiting to happen. Sidewalk in front of rooms had steep ramps up and down every 10 feet....another disaster waiting to happen.
