Cons: Some of the old hardware feature such as the old security lock could have been removed if it is not used anymore or refit correctly to enable function
Overall good experience of the friendly staff services and clean facilities.

Beautiful location with amazing beach & ocean view

Will write something due to expedia being annoyingly demanding for what it requires fora review. The gym had great facilities & thw staff were very friendly & helpful.inctedibly expedia software still statrs i need to add a bit more to my review.

TICK TOCK TICK TOCK

Pros: The infrastructure sucks. The desk staff tried to help. The food is terrible.
Cons: Needs fulls refurbishment or they need to reposition themselves as budget hotel - rather than just a"discount" on Expedia. $120 should be the rackrate
So a pretty cheap buy on Expedia, I didn;t have super high expectations however in brief: 1. Room service inedible. Returned. Staff allowed me to order for alacarte but only a starter/entree. Weird but they tried to help. 2. Decor is old. But even worse. They have done a weird renovation. I went to sleep and could hear TICK TOCK TICK TOCK TICK TOCK. After thorough investigation trying to shut the clock up I discovered that there last renovation they boxed in the bed head and didn't shut down the integrated clock in the bed head. Must be running off a battery. How anyone has slept in this room is beyond me. 3. Staff tried to help. Moved me at 10:00pm to another room with faulty air conditioning. AC would not turn off and stuck on a too hot temperature setting. Had to sleep with open windows and doors and left at 5am.

Old and Tired

Bathroom had mould everywhere. Fittings loose, bathroom sink cracked, doors and skirting boards worn with paint chipped. Needs a total refurb.

Loved the hotel. Haven't visited for a number of years and still desirable. Loved the location, terrace and pool area and surrounding area. Only drawback was the lack of maintenance on the 9 hole golf course which was one of the reasons we selected Opal Cove for our stay.

Whale watching from balcony

We had a lovely room with an ocean view and spent an afternoon watching whales from our balcony as they swam north. Perfect! Staff were lovely and while some of the resort was a little bit dated they are currently doing some updates and upgrades so it will only get better. Our room service was delicious and parking convenient.

Not bad hotel just a bit tired and rough in places, due a update (i think happening over the next two years) but the kids loved the pool (not heated) and the large space to run. breakfast pleasant in the sun

The rooms were very, very tatty. They don't say they are under going refurbishment. So you could ask for a refurbished room which might be better. The general facilities bar, etc. seemed ok though why they had to have slot machine's?
