Spacious rooms, great facilities for the whole fam

Posted 18-Feb-2017
Spacious layout throughout the resort. Rooms much larger than usual and well laid out. Staff were customer focused. The dining options for every budget. Large, well equipped games room was in use by young and old. The inside of the building is looking dated now with the indoor water feature not really a feature any more. However Opal Cove is in a great location with a walk through to the beach and enough to keep the family occupied.

Tired room

Posted 13-Feb-2017
Cons: Refurbish units aand common hallways
We needed a place to stay overnight as we were driving south on the Pacific Hwy. The room we originally booked in to had a musty odour in it and we asked to be moved. The staff were very obliging and moved us to a similar room on a higher floor which did not have a smell but was looking equally tired. When you have a room with sections of carpet replaced because the original is wearing out and the extra single bed in the room (which we did not require) is caved in -its time to refurbish. The carpet in the common hallways from the room to the lift were also in need of replacement.

Run down hotel

Posted 6-Feb-2017
The facilities are run down and old. Looks way more appealing on the website- don't be fooled. $175 a night is a rip off.

Nice quiet hotel

Posted 2-Feb-2017
This hotel is quiet with no highway noises. It is close to the beach. It is clean & bed comfortable. It is showing it's age a little but otherwise no complaints. Staff are friendly & helpful.

Not a very clean and good resort

Posted 31-Jan-2017
Not a great experience. The room we stayed at for the price we paid was terrible. Just word of advice... Do not post gorgeous photos of the rooms as that's false advertisement.Have pictures of every type of room type and maybe we wouldn't of stayed..

Nice hotel and easy to relax around the pool

Posted 25-Jan-2017
Very relaxing and comfortable rooms. Easy to find just off highway and you couldn't hear any road traffic. Easy to watch the children play in the pool while I relaxed and read.
