The Space:
Cozy up in this quiet Coeur d`Alene townhouse with it's brand new beautiful kitchen, comfortable living spaces, and inviting deck will make you feel right at home! Just blocks from the recreational fun of Canfield Mountain and with easy access to the highway and downtown, you’ll love the convenient location of Whitetail Landings. And with the grassy yard and ample interior space, this home is the perfect setting for your vacation in the Inland Northwest. 

The first room to greet you is the gorgeously remodeled kitchen with all-new appliances, and an open view of the main living space for easy meal preparation without missing a moment of the action. In the dining area, a tall wooden table seats six and a table leaf brings all eight guests around the table for long meals and game time.

Vaulted ceilings spread out in front of you upon entering the main room, where a gas fireplace invites you to cozy into the sectional furniture and watch your favorite shows on the 70" Smart TV. Access the deck through sliding glass doors to find ample space for outdoor relaxation. With a BBQ grill and outdoor seating, dinner can be served al fresco, or just catch some sun in the lounge chairs while gazing out at nearby Canfield Mountain.

Back inside and down the hall, you`ll find the first bedroom with a king bed, ample closet and dresser storage, and a 43" Smart TV. The fully remodeled bathroom has a lighted fog-free mirror and all new gleaming surfaces and fixtures!

Ascend the stairs to the upper level to find a loft bedroom with a king bed, desk with a 40" screen that can be used as a TV or monitor for the nearby keyboard, or connect it directly to your laptop or other devices. And with super-fast fiber internet, you`ll be ready to stream smoothly and attend video meetings without interruption. This large space is complete with a dresser and closet, as well as an ensuite bathroom with a standing shower.

On the lower level, you`ll find two more bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with a queen, both with mounted 43" Smart TVs. This lower level shares a bathroom with a standing shower and washer and dryer for all your easy laundering needs. A family room with cozy seating and a high-top table provides extra gathering space for games and conversation. Through the sliding glass door, you can access the back patio and lawn.

Our rental was just what we needed for a group of 8 people (with space for more). 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms provided all the space we needed. All the beds were comfortable and the entire house was clean. The back deck was a nice place to kick back in the evenings and socialize as a group. We enjoyed our stay and would look to book here again.

The house fit our needs. It could have been cleaner….bathroom smelled like the rugs needed a good cleaning. The cupboards in the kitchen needed wiping out. Several bugs were found during our stay as well. The TVs in every room was great. All smart TVs w/Roku so you could sign in to your apps such as Netflix, Prime etc. Although we only used the upstairs living area with the big TV, there was a second area in the basement that looked inviting as well.

Everything was very nice, tv’s in the rooms with streaming options, super comfortable beds (probably most comfortable I’ve ever slept on actually), very comfortable sofa in the living room with a huge tv, the kitchen had everything we needed including spices and seasonings. The deck is beautiful with comfy seating and a bbq. The only things I would say weren’t up to par was the bbq grate could have been cleaner, the shower curtain upstairs could use some cleaning, the toilet downstairs rocks back and forth when you sit on it, and the shower door downstairs sticks a bit. The downstairs bathroom is really a laundry room with a shower and toilet but it was fine enough. It was great for my little family to have our own space downstairs and then my aunt and gpa had the bedrooms upstairs. Overall the place was clean, very comfortable, and you can tell the owners really want guests to feel at home. I’d definitely stay here again!

The third bathroom was in the laundry room. Sucked! Kitchen was a disaster! Stove did not work properly. Pan was warped. Cupboards need to be torn out and replaced. Hand rail was lose. Electrical outlets need to be replaced. Outdoor steps were uneven and slippery. Need more chairs on outside patio. Worst VBRO we have ever been in!!!

It’s hard to summarize. First of all the lower level bathroom is a joke. It is a laundry room with a toilet. No where to put clean clothes or towels. No way two couples could stay on the lower level. The upstairs bath needs new plumbing fixtures. Almost everyone had to bath in the main floor bathroom. Outdoor seating only seats six. Screen door in back needs to be adjusted. House was not very clean, carpets need cleaning. The throw rug in kitchen is bent up on edge and a tripping hazard. We moved it while there. Lower bath door knob loose, railing going downstairs is loose. Not a great area. VRBO needs to let people know there are many steps and not suitable for people who have a hard time using stairs. Very hard to carry luggage down and up. Scatter rugs need cleaning. The carpets were dirty and stained when we got there. We as a group would give this a low rating. It is not a 9.0 outstanding. Front door lock very hard to figure out, never seen one quite like it.

We loved the house and the back deck. The property was very nice and very well maintained. The inly problem i had was that we found items belonging to previous tenants, garbage in the bedbside table and in 2 of the beds there were crumbs and cardboard heart cutouts

I'm writing this review on behalf of family friends who stayed in your home for over a month following the tragic house fire that claimed not only their home, but also their husband and father in Hayden, ID. The family reports that this home was so perfect in many ways for their extended stay! The house was cozy, having a garage to sort through recovered home items was ideal and the beds were comfortable. The family did note that while the house was "surface clean" when they arrived, they had to do a lot of deeper cleaning along the way (dresser drawers, cabinets, garbage cans, etc). Also, they were there over a month, but were only provided with a couple of days worth of toilet paper, paper towels, etc. Thanks for the rental!
