A wonderful escape for two couples, this property boasts two complete living spaces, a dock at the river's edge, and easy access to downtown Coeur d'Alene. This riverfront home sits on the south bank of the river, just over two miles from the heart of town. You can easily spend your days lounging on the shores of Lake Coeur d'Alene at City Park and Beach, enjoying McEuen Park and Tubbs Hill, riding bikes or walking on the North Idaho Centennial Trail, and dining out at great restaurants. The Village at Riverstone, with its dining, shopping, and movie theaters, is only two miles across the river as well. No matter how you spend your days, you'll likely begin and end each one in the lovely outdoor spaces. Sip your morning coffee on the balcony at sunrise, launch your kayak from the dock for a serene paddle on the river, and sip cold drinks and linger in the shade of the patio for the afternoon and evening. One of the special features of this home is that its two floors are two self-contained living spaces. On each level, you'll find a beautiful kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a living room with a smart TV and a gas fireplace, generous deck space, one bedroom, and one full bathroom. It's an ideal blend of privacy and togetherness for a pair of close friends or couples vacationing together. Complimentary WiFi and a private washer/dryer are provided as well. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. There's a flight of stairs down to the front door, another flight of stairs to the backyard, and a walk down to reach the dock. All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Dock details: If guests bring a boat, they are able to launch it from the dock at the home. There is also a boat launch at Blackwell Island. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The location was amazing, right on the Spokane River with quick, easy access to downtown and the major highways. The well-maintained dock, backyard and deck were wonderful for relaxing and enjoying the water. Inside, the house was very clean, with beautifully updated kitchens and bathrooms, and a gorgeous view. The kitchen was well-stocked and the furnishings were comfortable. We especially enjoyed the gas fireplace in the evenings. A couple of things to be aware of: (1) the driveway into the house is on a significant downward slant, but we had access to the garage to park on a flat (and dry!) surface, which we greatly appreciated; (2) there is a flight of stairs down to the front door, then another flight to get to the backyard, which is also somewhat steep to walk down to get to the dock. We had no issues, but might be something to keep in mind if you have mobility concerns or small kids. ##### Melinda G. The home appears to have recently been updated and the details and decor really created the perfect ambiance for our weekend in Couer D’Alene! Our kids enjoyed the dock and easy access to the river. We loved sitting on the top deck enjoying the views and boats. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. You just need to bring food/condiments and cooking oil. The listing says no A/C but that’s not accurate there is A/C. There is small fans in the bedrooms and ceiling fan in upstairs common area. There is also a fire pit outside which isn’t mentioned. The beds are one softer mattress upstairs and a temperpedic type mattress downstairs both queens. Also downstairs the mattress converts to a bed (Costco style if you’ve seen those). Plenty of soft nice bath towels and beach towels provided. There are stairs to the main house and the grade outside up and down to dock is slightly steep. If you have a boat this is a great option. The small swimming area between the property and dock is a great swimming area for kids. There is some wake from time to time with boats driving by.
