Beautiful Historic Home/Perfect Location/Walk Everywhere/NEW Rooftop Deck!

GREAT OFF SEASON RATES! Our 1909 home has been completely renovated and beautifully decorated. Located in the historic Garden District, it is only a short walk to Sherman Ave, the center of downtown, the resort and the shores of Lake Coeur D'Alene. Two blocks north of the house is Midtown, an up and coming area of CDA, that has several restaurants, coffee and ice cream shops and great shopping.

Highlights of our home are many. The house has three stories with sleeping accommodations on all three levels. We have a NEW large rooftop deck which has access from two of the upstairs bedrooms as well as from the kitchen breezeway. There are chaise lounges for sunbathing and an outdoor dining table for summer dining and loveseats to relax in and watch the comings and goings on the street below! The small backyard is fenced and is perfect for kids or playing a game of bocce.

On the upper level of the home there are two large bedrooms with one queen and one king bed, a third bedroom offers a full size bed. All bedrooms have flat screen televisions. Two of the bedrooms have sliding doors out to the deck-perfect for that morning cup of coffee! The bathroom has been remodeled to include granite counter top, stone tiles and a jetted Jacuzzi tub.

The main floor is equipped with a large gourmet kitchen with eating space in both the kitchen and dining room. The over-sized living room offers a large flat-screen TV with a Wii video game system and custom designed marble fire place. Attached to the living room through a set of French doors is an office/den that is perfect for a children's playroom and/or extra bedroom. There are kid's toys, games and books as well as a queen sofa bed. The bathroom on this level is a 3/4 bath with shower.

The lower level has a large bedroom with 2 twin beds and flat screen television. The laundry facilities are also on this level.

Downtown is the center of Coeur d'Alene fun and you will find coffee shops, wine tasting, fine dining, shopping, live music and a vibrant art scene. The McEuen City Park with its large kids play area, water splash park, basketball courts and off-leash dog park is just a short walk down Fifth Street. Tubbs Hill walking trail that follows the shoreline of the lake is there as well. The resort and lakeside boardwalk is next to the park. The City Park and Public Beach, on the beautiful shores of Lake Coeur D'Alene, will provide you with sandy beaches, the popular Fort Sherman Playground, and newly restored Playland Pier Carousel. You will find boat, paddle board, kayak & canoe rentals. Lake cruises, seaplane tours, para-sailing and zip-lining are also popular summer activities. Centennial Trail, which winds along the lake for biking, running & walking, is a short walk from the house.

Has it all!

We had a great stay! The location was ideal. We walked or rode bikes to just about everywhere—nice to leave the car behind. Everything we needed for our stay was provided. Everything was clean & in good repair. The roof top deck was a nice plus.

Beautiful home near downtown

We really enjoyed our stay. The home is in great shape and has everything we needed. The second floor deck is large and beautiful. The air conditioners in each bedroom were great, and they kept the rooms cool during the hot days.

It was nothing short of amazing. Great location relitive to all attractions. The house was fully equipped, and by fully equipped I mean it had everything you could think of right down to yard toys for the kids. The host met us at the door aa we pulled up and walked us through the house. I would not stay any other place when visiting Coeur d'Alene!!

Another Amazing Stay!

We have booked this property twice for our family trips and are always very pleased with Diane’s service and the property! She and Monte have it stocked and make it all so very convenient. Judy the property manager is also terrific and very accommodating! The home is beautiful and the location is a short walk downtown or to shops and restaurants on 4th Street! They also provide bikes and water toys (kayaks) as well! Highly recommend…thank you again Diane! All the best!

Annual family vacation

Every year we rent a VRBO for our family vacation. We spent five days in this house. We’ve always stayed in nice places, but every year I add things to my “take on vacation“ list, like a nightlight for the bathroom or extra hangers. This house is very well stocked. It had everything we needed and tons of extras. The house is a short walk to Sherman Street and the lake. We only had two rented cars, so the location was perfect, allowing everybody to go different directions without needing a car. If you have small children, the house is equipped with everything you need, including a baby monitor, pack and play, highchair, stroller, and wagon. Several of the family members went on a long bike ride along the Spokane River with the provided bicycles. We sat on the roof patio in the mornings with our coffee. We visited in May and the landscaping in the front yard was gorgeous! The owners have thought of everything. I would definitely recommend this house. It’s going to be hard to top this vacation.

CDA Foster House

The Foster house in downtown was a perfect location to walk to anywhere in the downtown area - restaurants, beaches, park and more. Diane was always receptive and the check in process was easy. The house was fantastic for 6 women and the outdoor patio was the icing on the cake. We spent our mornings and evenings sitting on the deck enjoying the beautiful weather and many laughs. Highly recommend this rental. You won’t be disappointed.

Home away from home

The Foster house was perfect for me and my sisters family. Truly felt like home away from home. The house was stocked with everything we could need to make meals at home, but also close to town if we were feeling takeout or a walk to the lake. The neighbors are super friendly. Check in and checkout was seamless. The upstairs patio/massive deck feels completely brand new and was perfect for relaxing in the evening with lighted umbrellas. Very tranquil. Rooms had their own AC units. Would definitely chose to stay here again!!

Can’t beat the short walk to downtown from a charming and well equipped house! We thoroughly enjoyed this house and loved being on the deck into the evening with the lighted umbrellas. Truly a gem.

This was a great place to stay. The house was big enough for our extended family of 10 people. The rooms were all very comfortable. The kitchen was well furnished. The location was ideal as it was within walking distance of the beach, downtown and Tubbs Hill. Highly recommend this property.

Wilson's Return Home

All of my brothers, sisters and I returned with our father to our hometown to celebrate the 4th of July. We watched the fireworks from the roof deck and enjoyed the reunion! Great place to stay!

Wonderful property walking distance to downtown!

This is the second time we have rented Diane’s lovely home and we will stay there every time we visit CDA! It has lots of room, all of the amenities we need, and we love the rooftop space. The home is always clean and the location within walking distance to downtown is perfect. The fireplace makes it cozy in the winter and the outdoor dining space on the rooftop makes it fun in the summer. Diane is also tremendously responsive to our every question and need, she’s even going to ship back the jacket my daughter left there. Can’t be beat!

Amazing Experience

My fiancé and I live local. We live in Post Falls Idaho. But we had all of our out-of-town children and grandchildren coming to stay with us for our wedding. We wanted to all stay together so we rented this home. Also out of town friends came and had dinner with us one night evening as well, and a brunch the day after the wedding. The sun came out and we enjoyed the deck. I think we used every inch of the home! Beautiful home. Amazing experience. It made our weekend extra magical!

Charming house with great rooftop deck!

Cute home with lots of charm! We had a lovely week & spent lots of time on the rooftop deck enjoying the view and the weather. Kitchen was stocked well, as well as the garage. (Beach chairs, frisbees, even an electric pump for our tubes!!) The washer & dryer were great as well. Just a short walk to the park & beach. Walked to Mrs. Honeypeep’s ice cream every night. Great place for a family stay.
