The living room was big and the couch and recliner were comfortable. The bed was really comfortable to sleep in for me. There is a good sized yard that my dog, Apollo, loved. He especially liked chasing the rabbits that would be in the yard in the morning and when we came back in the evening. Good location for trips to Yellowstone to either the East or Northeast entrance. The drive up to the park is really pretty. If you like kayaking the Shoshone River is in walking distance of the house (less than a mile). There is a walking trail by the river and took my dog on walks there. You will most likely see deer while you are walking. If you kayak, and want to experience some white water, this is a great spot for home base. I kayaked from Old Town put in, it is on the east side of Cody, and came down to the take out at the HWY 120 bridge take out. I walked back to the house with it. You can also put in at HWY 120\. Lots of other places to kayak a short drive away. You can easily walk to downtown Cody where a lot of the shops and restaurants are. If you bring your dog besides the yard and the river Cody has a great dog park a very short drive away. Apollo and I really enjoyed your stay and when we come back to the area will try to book this place again. ##### Maurice F.
