Salty Serenity Duplex is a pet friendly, cozy 2 bedroom 1 bath house located at ground level. This house is a 4 minute walk to the warm sand of Cocoa Beach and began operating as a vacation rental on June 15, 2018 after a complete remodel. This Cocoa Beach house was remodeled from top to bottom in 2018 including all new paint, flooring, coastal beach decor, furniture, flat panel smart TVs in both bedrooms and the living room, central heat and air conditioning, stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and kitchenware. Everything in this beach cottage is brand new including a full size washer and dryer with detergent supplied. The pet friendly 6 ft. privacy fenced yard has a large covered patio with an outdoor dining table and brand new Weber grill (propane included). Your short walk to Cocoa Beach will be easy with the supplied beach towels and beach cart stocked with beach toys, beach umbrella, cooler and boogie boards. A crock pot, Brita filtered water pitcher, coffee maker, and tea kettle along with coffee, sugar, powdered creamer, tea bags and some spices are all supplied. The bathroom has been completely remodeled and includes a tub/shower combination. All you need to bring is your clothes, toothbrush and toothpaste as everything else is provided including body wash, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, towels, wash cloths, hand towels, hair dryer and even a hair straightener. The provided amenities continue with a high chair, pack & play, extra linens and pillows, high speed WiFi, cable, Netflix, board games, books, iron, ironing board, umbrellas, and even a crate for your dog. Disney World, Universal Studios and all of the other fun that Orlando has to offer is just over an hour drive. Port Canaveral cruise port is a 15 minute drive and Kennedy Space Center is a 30 minute drive. Come at the right time and you can take a turtle walk and possibly observe a sea turtle nesting, baby sea turtles hatching and making their way to the ocean or see an amazing rocket launch. This house is a 4 minute walk to the warm sand of Cocoa Beach and a 20 minute walk to downtown where you will find locally owned restaurants, unique shops, and great bars. Cocoa Beach/Cape Canaveral loop route 9 bus stop is a 2 minute walk. The bus is air conditioned and at the low price of $1.50 (they accept bills but do not make change) is a great way to get around as parking can be difficult to find during busy times. South Cocoa Beach is less crowded so you will have more room to enjoy the beach. The house is located just past 7th Street South. Dogs are allowed on the beach from 4th Street South to the north end of Robert P. Murkshe Park which is just north of 16th Street South from 6 a.m. - 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. during standard time and ending at 9 p.m. during daylight savings time. Dogs must remain on a 6-foot leash at all times and you must clean up after your dog or you will be fined.
