« We were only in town for the weekend and place left us wanting more. Quant little spot that’s got plenty to do nearby (Madrid, Santa Fe). Whichever airport you fly into will force you to drive the Turquoise Trail to get here and will treat you to the beautiful New Mexico landscape. FYI, there is another house nearby on the property which can be confusing if you first get in after dark, but this property is detached. »

« Because I had never visited Los Alamos when the booking said the place was located in Downtown I had envisioned a more traditional urban city center and not such a small village. But that's on me. As for the Canyon Inn itself it was centrally located, clean and relatively quiet. I also wasn't quite expecting the room to be a extra room in someone's residence but it was spacious and more comfortable than I thought it would be. The owners were friendly but not intrusive.
