« When I arrived the receptionist was back in the office , on her phone, and she never heard me enter. My room wasn’t ready and she told me there was a 15 pound surcharge for early arrival? What?? I had canceled my reservation for Saturday the 12th and I knew there should have been an available room. The room was really musty smelling and the windows had been left open when I entered. « Very happy with our stay. Unfortunately we had an issue with the air conditioner in our room (was unlucky this was during a heatwave) but it was able to be fixed enough for it to work, unfortunately it was still making weird noises during our stay. Brought it up during check out, and was told they’d get it looked at again, so it shouldn’t be a problem anymore. As for the room was very nice and cleaned well every day of our stay. We really enjoyed the fresh water and coffee available at reception...
