Staying at the JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District felt magical. The lobby was like stepping into Night at the Museum—every turn revealed something fascinating. The staff were incredibly courteous and made us feel genuinely welcome. Add in the easy walk to River Street, restaurants, and shops, and this became one of the most memorable hotel experiences we've ever had. We can't wait to return. ❤️

We booked this property at the last minute after another trip had to be abandoned due to flight cancellations. We weren't sure what to expect at the Sonesta as it was our first time. It surpassed all expectations. The property is conveniently located with easy beach and Shipyard community access. It offered a number of other amenities and never felt overly busy or mobbed, even in the pool and bar areas. The property is freshly renovated and the rooms are clean and spacious. Finally, the service was excellent. The staff took pride in ensuring our stay was a great experience. I would book again without hesitation.

Clean and the staff was great!

We had a wonderful 3-night stay in room 308. The staff was very accommodating of our late check-in when our flight was delayed. Room 308 is up two flights of narrow stairs which wasn't a problem for us since we didn't have heavy luggage. The room was clean and spacious, and I loved the soaking tub. The bed is higher than normal but they provide a step stool. There was a bit of a musty smell in the room but it was not unusual for being an old house, and it didn't bother me after the first night. The ventilation could be better - there is no fan in the bathroom so it got pretty humid after using the shower. Despite this, the room was well-maintained and comfortable. Would love to stay at this inn again if we return to Savannah!

Every single staff was warm and welcoming. Julie had the most heart warming smile, welcomed us, responded promptly to our every request. Every front desk staff said a warm hello and seemed glad to see us. The place was clean and the food was delicious. Southern hospitality must be real because we felt it. Thank you
