Atlanta Baseball Game Experience

Pros: Clean, comfortable and the location, I was near where I needed to be.
Cons: The first lady at the desk needs to be reminded the "The customer comes first". While she could obey her orders from management, politeness wins.
Location: WIthin a short distance to the interstate and the Atlanta Braves Suntrust stadium.
I travel quite a bit in business so I stay at several motel/hotel chains depending on location and rates. Not a novice at dealing with motel stays; this was vacation. We arrived @ 2:25 PM on the day of check-in. The lady behind the desk informed me check-in time was 3:00 PM which I knew. I respectfully asked if we check in early. The reply from her was very curt, short, and blatantly negative. "The check-in time is firm. I could check-in early for a $25 fee." No "I am sorry or management will not let me" etc. It was very condescending and purposely meant to embarrass me in front of the other employee sitting in the area. Whether the "firm" check in time was the local management decision, corporate decision, or just her way of showing off her authority I don't know; but I hardly see where 35 minutes makes a difference with a customer who routinely stays at Extended Stay America Hotels. I left; obviously not happy with the experience. When I did arrive later to check-in I was greeted by a very nice young man who was 180 degrees opposite. Very polite and helpful. I may stay at this location again, but certainly will remember the first lady and I WILL NOT BE AS POLITE to her. She needs to be reminded that politeness hurts no one. Southern hospitality wasn't in her work kit!!!!

Never go

Please do not go had a very bad experience, kitchen stove top doesn't work, water doesn't drain the the bathroom tub, no room service daily. One particular staff at the hotel is very disrespectful of the guests. I would advise to find another location.

Ok hotel for a tight budget

Hallway was noisy with talking and doers slamming until the a.m. hours. Breakfast consisted of coffee and granola bars.

It was ok. The room had a weird smell and it wasn't quiet at all. You could hear everything going on in the hallway. It definitely wasn't what I expected. For the price I expected more. I travel at least once a month and I would have preferred to pay a little more to stay in a much nicer place. The bed was ok, definitely not the best. I'm glad we were only there for 1 night.

Stayed on here on a Saturday night to take in baseball game the following day. Only a couple minutes drive to parking lots. Good room rates based on location. Pretty quiet area around hotel. Hotel was fully booked and only a few parking spaces when I arrived about midnight. Sketchy people hanging out in and around cars in lot. Seemed to be only one hotel staff member working. Upon check-in was not asked to provide any vehicle info. Thought this was unusual seeing that the lot was mostly full and obviously there was no concern about what kind of people park and loiter the premises, most likely with illegal activity. The lack of night security was reconfirmed between the hours of 2-4am. There were several groups of teenagers staying in hotel that were back and forth the hallways, up and down the elevator, running, playing games, talking very loud. This went on for some time. I thought maybe this is just happening on my end of the hotel, but both guests in front of me at checkout complained about the noise and lack control from night staff. Overall I think this is a good hotel, with a good location,and good room rates. I dont think there are any serious security problems here. Just having an extra person, and/or staff that can take charge of a situation and not turn a blind eye, would go a long way to keep guests feeling safe and comfortable to return again.

Not as good as I hoped.

Hotel was hard to find as it was well off the main road and the very small sign on a very small side road was hard to see. Checking in At 5:30 pm I had to call on the lobby phone to get the front desk person to come to the desk. This took a few minutes. Checking in took a long time and the clerk seemed not to know how to handle my Hotels booking. The room was clean but no TP on the holder and trash cans were hidden. Room was pretty spartan with a curtain over the closet door instead of closet doors. Worst issue was that the promised breakfast was not there. The only think out was hot water and instant oatmeal. No one was at the front desk to ask about breakfast and no one even answered when i called. So basically we were promised breakfast and got none. I feel they broke their contract with me. I would not stay at his property again and am not happy with Hotels.com that promised me breakfast.
