Casa Nuestra Familia is a private beachfront house located in Playa Carmen in Santa Teresa.
Sandy beach and great waves right in front makes it a perfect accommodation to enjoy your stay in our area.
It counts with three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a mezzanine. It can sleep up to 8 people.
The location is great as its near lots of restaurants and stores yet it feels like being immersed in Nature. Old trees and tropical landscape are visited by monkeys and other wild life in a daily bases. You may see them passing by while relaxing in your hammock.
From the beach you can swim, surf, dive, fish, beach comb, lounge around working on your tan or just sit in the shade of the trees and enjoy your favorite cold costa rican beverages.
Open and spacious, Casa Nuestra Familia was designed by a Californian architect living in Costa Rica. He captured the feel of this authentic and beautiful tropical paradise.
Two of the three bedrooms has a double AND single bed with ceiling fan and standing one too. The third bedroom has one double bed and fans as well. There is also a double matress in the mezzanine and hammocks in the house and on the patio. The kitchen opens onto the family room, where there is plenty of room to relax or enjoy with your friends and family.
The kitchen is fully equipped with eveyrhinng you may need to make great meals and we also have a BBQ.
The house has great Wifi with 100 mega fibre optic what makes it a great place for working away from home. You can enjoy your " Workations" from the porch looking at the ocean while you work.

Perfect two-family beach house

Amazing location
This home is very conveniently located in town, walking distance to a grocery store and restaurants, and yet it feels like a tropical oasis with lots of privacy and gorgeous views of the ocean.
The electricity went out fairly regularly due to storms and/or monkeys playing on wires in town. That was inconvenient at night, but also part of the experience. (Not the fault of the owners as it was out regularly throughout town.)
The best part of the home is the front deck where you can enjoy the ocean view and watch iguanas and monkeys!
The house has a minimalistic feel which works well in the humid environment. It was stocked with all the bedding and kitchen supplies we needed. We made dinner about half the nights we stayed. (There is a great fish market in town called La Pesca!) Ants were a regular challenge but spray was available to help keep them out of the kitchen.
There was a large bottle of fresh water kept on the counter which was to be used for drinking. Guests refill/exchange that container at the grocery store once the original one is out.
This is a very unique home, and we enjoyed our stay immensely.

Cozy Paradise!
This was the perfect home for our beach vacation! We loved it so much, that we extended our stay. The location was amazing right in front of the ocean (yet with some privacy with the trees). It was lovely listening to the waves while we enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the patio. It was ideal and super convenient to be steps away from the beach and water with our 3 children. The home had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and it was SUPER clean. When we wanted a break from cooking - the restaurant next door was delicious and a busy parent's dream come true! Also, it wasn't loud at night. We were incredibly appreciative of the owner and manager to add a board to the stairs blocking this for our busy toddler. This place is fantastic for families. Pia went out of her way to make our stay smooth and enjoyable, and the cleaning crew were top notch. We can't wait to go back!

Short stay in ST
Pia and her team took fantastic care of us during our stay. The house really has an authentic beach front vibe complete with wildlife and warm ocean air all around you 24-7. The resort next door has a great restaurant that is super convenient and is on the beach. Basic shopping is right across the street and you are in the heart of ST's fantastic restaurant scene.

Great house and property
We stayed here for just over a week with my wife and two kids. The house is super spacious and comfortable. Pia communicated with us excellently and help us navigate everything. We loved this place can't wait to come back with another family next time because the house is so big. The property itself is amazing right on the beach and the Hotel Tropico next door was great to have as a place to get food and drinks if we were being lazy or just to sit on the beach and catch a sunset.
