« What a wonderful first mini getaway of the New Year! We wanted a last minute impromptu overnight stay someplace not too far from home and the Carriage House was just perfect! Walking in to a dimly lit cozy space with music on for us was a nice feeling. The pool table was great as well as the shuffle board game! « Le seul hick c’est que notre chambre en était une communicante avec des inconnus et même la porte fermée la communication était très bonne! Aucune insonorisation. J’ai due laisser la télé jouer presque toute la nuit pour oublier les kids ds la chambre à côté. »

« Hôtel historique (19ème siècle) au centre de la petite et typique ville de Jim Thorpe. Chambre (Deluxe King) vaste, propre plutôt bien équipée avec SdB séparée avec baignoire. La chambre donnait sur la rue donc assez bruyante... même la nuit (passage des éboueurs, traffic tôt le matin). Accueil un peu réservé mais les cookies offerts à l'arrivée sont sympas! Le pub attenant est très sympa et nous avons bénéficié par l'hôtel d'un bon pour un PdJ américain à 7$. »

"La chambre n'était pas très propre, beaucoup de taches sur les murs. Les draps sont tachés et une substance séchée douteuse sur ma couverture, couverture qui était troué d'ancienne brulure de cigarette. Toute la literie serait à changer. Nous avons aussi trouvé des cheveux qui ne sont pas à nous dans la douche, douche qui ne semble pas avoir été lavé depuis longtemps. Il y avait toute les commodité, inclus le frigos avec congélateur et il y a plusieurs options restauration accessible à pied."
