"The staff were warm and inviting, especially the proprietor Simon. The room was tidy and clean. The best was the 14th Century building with a carriageway entrance for a front door and nary a straight line or level floor board to be found. This is a rare gem. And, strange for such an old building, the best shower in all of Cornwall (hot and high pressure). I got to sample the new Indian cuisine that could soon be available at the hotel. I hope so. It’s excellent!"

"Great Central location. It is an older building but it has been updated. Not concerns although water pressure in shower was a little low and the water not as hot as I would like. overall, it is a great location with parking despite not having water view. Would definitely stay there again."
