The house had not been cleaned from the previous guest's. We were ready to leave, but because of the coordination of our family vacation/birthday celebrations, we decided to stay and clean the property ourselves. Stephanie did return our call and was very apologetic. The microwave did not work. Only one outlet in the kitchen worked. There are two washers and two dryers, and one of the washers dispenser drawer kept opening, which,would cause the washer to stop and not complete the cycle. The whole house needs a deep clean and update. Cloth furniture was stained and the house smelled musty. Bathrooms had previous guests hair on the floors, toilet and showers needed a good scrubbing. Also there was urin smells in most bathrooms. We also cleaned the outdoor areaWe spent our first check in day cleaning. Stephanie did offer to move us to a different rental, for one night, and refund us for the first night. The home is located pretty far from any walkable areas, restaurants, Joshua Tree, etc. and a car is absolutely necessary. We were happy to find a Tesla charger, and an extra refrigerator in the garage was great for all our drinks and food. We'd requested the pool be heated and there were some issues with the system so we did not have it heated the whole time. We were unable to heat both the hot tub and pool at the same time, so with the cold December nights, both got cold very fast, and obviously the pool took forever to heat up. This was disappointing. To be fully transparent, the house is pretty well worn, with pool tiles coming off, the coating on the pool came off on our feet, and the furniture and rugs could use a cleaning. There was not a bedroom with a King and Twin as advertised, but a trundle in the bunk room. Thankfully our father could not come with us at the last minute, otherwise we would have had an issue with sleeping everyone in a bed comfortably. We were 10 adults & 2 teens. The kids did enjoy the putting green and corn hole game provided. Next time, we'd rent something closer to town. ##### Lisa M. It turned out to be very underwhelming. First of all it was not cleaned properly. The window sills were filthy, the blinds were very dusty and the master bedroom floor was dirty. On top of that the blinds in the master bedroom were broken and non-functional. All in all the house is worn and needs some TLC. The house had no cable TV, the sonos sound system had many speakers around the property but only one worked, etc. Working with the property manager proved to be frustrating. We had eight people in which everyone had their own bed in the house. The house is perfect for a golf vacation as it's with 10 minutes to PGA West, etc. The table that seats 10 for dinner was great. Checking in was very easy and Sarah was very helpful and responsive. Almost everything was controlled by the iPad on the counter. The surround sound around the pool was extraordinary. I highly suggest that you use this. We are not familiar with the SONOS app but please do your research if you are looking for a particular genre to listen to. It work like Pandora, Apple Music, Spotify but again we were not familiar with this app. Either way we were able to play great music. The TV by the pool was awesome. Our family watch the NBA playoffs but lounging around in the pool. Some fell asleep on the lounge chairs as they were watching TV. Everything in the home was well organized and labeled. You can tell a lot of thought, Care, organizational skills was put into this home. Oh by the way. There is an icemaker!!!! although very small amenity made everyone so happy and it’s the chip ice which we all just loved so much. It never ran out With the amount of people in our party.
