There is a dedicated parking area inside the community for 2WD vehicles prior to the steepest parts of the mountain roads. Access issues will not be at fault of owner. Check-in time: 4:00 PM. Check-out time: 10:00 AM. All guests shall abide by our good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. No pets are allowed at this vacation rental. The house is at 4,000 feet elevation. As such, winter weather and icy road conditions may be experienced intermittently November through March, necessitating the use of TIRE CHAINS to safely navigate the roads. The house was spacious and easily accommodated my family of four and another family of three. The hot tub was clean and easy to use. Our highlights were watching the sunset, cooking, hiking up to the top of mountain (easy, short hike with unbelievable views), driving into Waynesville (cute town!) for day trips, and a morning hike to Midnight Hole just up the road in Great Smokey Mountain National Park. Would definitely come back to place.
