The caboose is as adorable as in the pics. The owners planned for every need you could have. The kitchen is fully functional and the bathroom is larger than expected. The fabulous little booth / nook up top is so cool. You can climb up and watch the bison roaming nearby. The owners were very helpful too. This is a very unique place and a fun experience if you're looking for something different from the usual hotels and resorts. Up in the forest, off the beaten path with minimal lighting at night, but still felt quite safe - even took a short midnight walk to fully enjoy the natural night sounds like cicadas, crickets, frogs and owls, but mostly liked seeing all the fireflies (they're rare now where we live, in Wilmington)! The Mo-Pac caboose is neat, well thought-out, and very appealing if you like 1950s and 60s themes, or if you simply want a clean, unfussy, yet private place in a peaceful farm-type setting.
