The Lazy Dragon is a darling cabin just a short walk to the beach in the quiet neighborhood of Tierra Del Mar. It is a perfect retreat for 2 couples or a small family with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. The back yard is inviting and spacious with a small fire pit and gas BBQ. The ocean is easy to get to with access directly down the street. This home has 2 TVs, WIFI, streaming TV, and is pet-friendly. There are thoughtful and fun additions throughout the property to make you feel at ease and at home the minute you arrive. Neighborhood: The village of Tierra Del Mar is a small community of traditional beach homes 3 miles north of Pacific City along the Three Capes Scenic Route. There are several quiet lanes lined with both historic cabins and larger beach homes that all lead to direct beach access. All homes in Tierra Del Mar are a quick, easy walk to the beach. The beach here is quiet and long—beachcombers can walk for hours down this lengthy stretch that is relatively undiscovered. It is a good spot for beachcombers who often find agates and Japanese glass floats. Sandlake Dunes recreation area is 4 miles to the north. Kiwanda Coastal Properties is a local, professional Oregon Coast vacation rental management company that offers over 50 homes in the Pacific City area. There were a few other people around, but not many. The cabin isn't fancy, but it is charming and the beds are very comfy. If you have mobility difficulty getting to the beach may not be easy. There are a few rocks to climb down to get to the sand, but you're in very easy driving distance of some places that are more accessible. It's very close to Pacific City so you have a couple options to go eat, but it is pretty limited on that without a longer drive. I would definitely stay here again. It is on the main road, but not very noisy. Beach access is easy and close. Great central location for exploring the central coast. Kitchen is well stocked. Dishwasher is very noisy so don't run at night. Nice bathroom with its own heater. Shower faucet is plumbed wrong, so C is hot and H is cold. Plenty of clean linens, blankets, and towels. Love how accessible the beach was This is a nice little low key spot within walking distance of the beach. Very cozy with jist what you need to a weekend getaway. The backyard is not fully fenced in but does provide some privacy from the neighbors. The front of the house is off of the main road that takes you through the town so there is some traffic you can hear in all hours of the day and night. It didn't bother us a whole lot for those seeking a more quite getaway this may not be ideal. You could definitely sleep more then a couple in the house as it has 2 bedroomss, but space in the common room was perfect for just the two of us. We visited during the summer and the beach was perfect for long strolls. The kitchen is well stocked and there’s a great collection of books and movies. Bring your own beach supplies, towels, chairs, etc. The house was very comfortable for me and my two teenagers. The bunk beds do squeak a bit, but it wasn’t a big deal. The side deck is fairly protected from the wind and warms up with the sun. The fire pit was great for making s’mores. I brought my dog. The yard isn’t fully fenced, so be sure and bring a long lead. Lots of toys, games, books and DVDs available for use. Even had dog supplies (except no poo bags, which I purchased and left a few rolls for the next visitors.) Everything a family could need on a mini vacation was here. Very close walk to a very private beach. No commercialization along this stretch of beach (no restaurants/hotels/etc) and no vehicles allowed. Great place and we definitely recommend it! ##### Kelly01 A. The kitchen is well equipped. Nice deck and fire ring area. The only issue we had was the proximity to the highway- we used the side door to assure the dog did not run into the street chasing one of the numerous bunnys. We appreciate that pets are welcome. It is thoughtfully supplied with lots of towels, sand toys and kitchen basics. Comfy beds, although the bunk bed situation was ridiculously squeaky/noisey. I couldn't imagine it actually supporting the weight of 4 people. We only had one person in it, and it swayed and squeaked. Other then that one bed, the place is perfect! ##### Sarah W.
