We loved watching the seals daily, and the location was perfect—close to town with the Whidbey Island Bagel Factory being a must-visit! Each morning, we were greeted by breathtaking sunrises over the water, and the kids loved spotting eagles soaring above while us adults enjoyed our coffee on the front patio. With just a few steps to the beach, we had easy access to long walks and sand castle building. The highlight, though, was the relaxing swim/spa—ideal for winding down after a day of exploring. Needless to say, the view was amazing from the house. We saw a pod of Orcas go by, a seal, and some of the cutest ducks called Barrows Goldeneye. Some of my family did a cold plunge in the Sound each morning.The house is just as pictured. Being a cook the kitchen is well appointed. We had the best coffee at Mukilteo Coffee Roasters & Mercantile. They have a gorgeous rustic space to nibble on their fantastic treats and great coffe. They also serve breakfast. It's a 14 minute drive but well worth it. ##### J A.
