If you are looking for a place to get away from it all, this secluded lake house is the place to be. Soaring ceiling, open spaces, and a wall of glass windows that showcase the panoramic view of the lake will be the first thing you will love about this retreat. The kitchen and dining are great for seating and serving as many guests as you care to invite. There is an office/game room on the main floor that can serve as a workspace, conference room, or group fun. Upstairs is a loft with a deck, fireplace, and an incredible view, bunk rooms, a full bathroom and large closet with washer and dryer, and the master suite with a jacuzzi tub and a private deck. The lower level has two master suites that open into the theater room and the 1950s-styled game room will make you feel like you stepped back in time. From the black and white tiled floors to the cafe-type bar stools, full-service bar, and pool table, this room will delight you. An incredible deck stretches across both levels, encompassing the entire house. The house is right on the lake with an incredible 3-slip private dock with jet ski lifts to hold all your water toys, two swimming decks to catch the sun all day, a picnic table, a porch swing, and a cantina. Included is a large firepit on the edge of the lake with plenty of seating and firewood to enjoy group gatherings on in the cool of the evenings. The sound of the waves breaking on the shore, the quiet of the surround, and the incredible amenities of the house will make for a retreat you will not forget. Having unruly or overly loud guests impact the ability of our neighbors to enjoy their properties, so we ask all guests to be respectful so we can continue to offer this retreat as a place to get away. We required guests to respect 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. quiet hours, noise monitoring systems are utilized. VRBO does not allow house parties and as such any additional guests that are not included on the rental will not be allowed on the property. If house parties or additional guests are detected appropriate steps will be taken including involving law enforcement. Please note, though we do allow dogs, they are required to stay in the downstairs pool table room on the linoleum or in the garage. Thank you for understanding the size of the home and the challenge it would be to properly and timely clean it and the impact the dander and hair could have on future guests. We do require a deposit for dogs that is fully reimbursed as long as house rules are followed. This rental is so well-equipped for families with kids of all ages. The teens loved the pool table and separate tv area downstairs while the little ones loved all the toys and games available, not to mention getting to sleep in bunk beds! We will definitely be back when the weather is nicer and we can enjoy the lake! Serenity Point was absolutely perfect for our annual lake trip with friends and family! We had 8 adults, 7 kids, and a baby. There was plenty of space to spread out, with extra beds. The dock and all the activities provided with the rental entertained all ages for the entire weekend! Wr spent all of our time playing off dock! This house was very clean, extremely well stocked. We appreciated the attention to detail with all the extra towels, hand soaps, cleaning supplies, laundry options, games. It was a perfect place to stay for a long relaxing weekend! Communication with the owner was easy as could be. Katie always responded immediately. We hope to stay again next summer! ##### Angie M. The house was clean and the beds were made when we arrived. The host did allow us an early check in however we didn't finally arrive until after check in. The property was pleasant and suited our needs. The house had nice views of the lake inside and out. Whether your looking to have friends or family down at the lake this property can accommodate you. There are some local restaurants and bars however it is a travel from the main entertainment area of the lake. A few things that weren't really a problem but would have made a better stay would be the pool sticks didn't have tips on them and the dart board was not able to be utilize. If you want to us the water crafts (paddle board & kayaks) make sure to ask the host upon arrival for the security lock codes . ##### Jonathan F. Loved our stay at serenity point! The drive was absolutely stunning- we ended up staying during peak time to see the leaves change which was such a nice surprise. Just a warning- you may need Dramamine if you are someone who gets carsick. The roads are VERY twisty and windy, and it’s quite a drive to get to most places besides a convenience store, dollar general, and a couple of restaurants. But we realize this is what comes with a more secluded vacation, one where you can truly disconnect and tap into nature, enjoy the slower pace, and escape from the noise of the city. The home is absolutely stunning. More than enough space to hold a couple of families and kids, with plenty of options of things to do during bad weather days. We enjoyed pool, checkers, kids games, foosball, and of course fishing right off the dock. We caught more fish from the dock than we did out on the boat, so don’t think you can’t catch if you don’t bring or rent a boat. I gave the cleanliness 4 stars, bc one of the guest bath tubs was not cleaned and there was something spilled and sticky left on the second story carpet, however, the host arranged to send someone to shampoo the carpet and clean the jets in the tub the following day. Overall we had a lovely time, and the host, Katie, was very accommodating, and quick to respond. The home has everything you need; you can tell they really take the job of hosting seriously. The rooms were gorgeous, impeccably clean, and fitted with brand-new, super comfortable mattresses. Katie was unbelievably responsive and helpful. Plus, the house is stocked with everything you might need during your stay — tons of games, kayaks, a SUP board — so much fun! We cherished every moment of our stay.
