« We had a short three day stay in Surry and fell in love with the house. It is a bit of the drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park but we didn’t mind it one bit. The convenience of the location and having a small store across the street really made for a stress free stay. Great back deck made for unforgettable conversations and few beverages to help take in all of the beautiful views full of eagles, osprey, ducks, geese and numerous other wildlife. « Well appointed and very clean. Only thing we were missing was something for airflow in the bedrooms (it could get quite stuffy if you sleep with the door closed). Close enough to everything without being in the middle of everything. The host was fantastic, and helped return a beloved stuffed animal that was accidentally left behind. »
