Clifden is a beautiful place to stay. Lots of great walks and drives. We had the Cregg apartment and facilites were perfect for a couple. Thanks for the wobderful baked goodies we discovered on arrival.

This is a great spot to stay in in Clifden, which is a charming, lively little town with good restaurants, stores and music venues. It is a short walk into town…maybe 10 minutes tops. The facility is well run, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast is outstanding. The rooms are quiet and very nice.

This was our favorite lodging during our visit to Ireland. Patrick and Cathriona were lovely and helpful in providing useful information. The grounds were pretty and the room was comfortable. Absolutely wonderful place. The owners are delightful people, the place is charming, Clifden city center is easily walkable, breakfast has lots of options and was delicious, and the property is quiet and secluded. The owners have thought of everything, including which places in town have music and having copies of menus for restaurants in town. The common room is also quite comfortable and my son and I spent plenty of time there playing cards in between our adventures in the area. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Highly recommend. We stayed in the triple room, which was very spacious, thoughtfully laid out and decorated, very updated room and bathroom. Bedding is comfortable, room is very clean, and Cathriona is helpful and kind. We had our laundry done and it was very reasonable, very fast (we dropped it off late afternoon and it was done by early evening), and smelled so fresh. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. Walking into town is great, there is a quiet lane that pops you right out at the town center. Leaving from Buttermilk to hit the main highlights (Connemara National Park, Kylemore Abbey, Leenaun) is very convenient as the lodge is located right on that road. Our room was very quiet, overlooked a field where we spotted a couple of ponies grazing. When we come back again (and we plan to!) we're definitely staying here.
