The grass was very long outside. Luckily for us it was too hot to be outside anyhow. Just a heads up, all bedrooms are upstairs (quite steep stairs). The upstairs bedrooms were quite stuffy as it didn’t seem like ac was getting up there much. Utensils and pots/pans were nice to have. Washer and dryer were nice to have as well but they were in the basement which may be difficult for some due to more steep stairs. Overall, the place did the job for us as we were visiting local attractions like the zoo. The house is accurate in description, but would be aware of a few things. The neighborhood is old and somewhat run down including one next door house being renovated and on the other side a lot of trash outside so somewhat of an eyesore. However, I did not get the sense of being in an unsafe neighborhood at all. Even though this home is very old, the owner obviously updated the inside to be very, very nice. The stairs to upstairs are typical of 100 year old homes - very steep and small step/tread and high riser. Bedrooms all upstairs and bathroom is small. Those unfamiliar with inner city life might find the location suspect, but the truth is this is an area with average, hardworking people just living their lives and trying to get by. Nights were fairly quiet and property was a nice mix of the classic features of the older houses available in Cleveland with modern updates.
