Overall it was the worst stay i've ever had in my life. Building was full of roaches and there was no staff to approach. We stayed without hot water.

I don't mind clean 2 star lodging. This would have qualified for that. It's a great location right off Play House Square. Close to bus lines and downtown as well as Rock Hall. Certainly was a good value. However they need to make clear your not in a hotel it's a short term apartment rental with no staff on site. I asked for a late check in (midnight) and was told there was a security guard to let me in. When I arrived tired, a bit lost and unfamiliar with Cleveland or the area, No one was there! A call to the after hours local manager number was answered and I was told to "wait for a tenant to come out", with my pleadings for a bit more substantial were refused. A call to the national number got someone more compassionate. While I was on hold and after waiting 25 minutes someone walked out of the building and let me in. The National person called me back and stayed on the phone till I was in my unit as well as checked in with me via text the next day to make sure things were alright. I appreciated that. But will never forget the fear of being out in new city downtown with all my bags on the sidewalk and no place to go. Gave me a big dose of empathy for someone facing homelessnes. Once I was in the place met my needs, was quiet, clean, a bit too warm, had stuff to make OK coffee and was a great base for exploring Cleveland. FYI, if your incoming the security guard told me they leave between 8-9PM.

The apartment flat is nice there was a broken towel bar upon entry but they had somebody to fix it also clear water started coming out of the toilet because a seal was broken and flooded the place but they fixed it and even accommodated a request to move to another unit. You will find a pieces of trash scattered throughout the property but overall it was a nice stay for a good price.
