I normally am not picky and won't bother with an overly bad review but Four Points Sheraton deserves it, and then some. I had reserved a 3-night stay at this location and ended up staying one night and moving to another hotel for the remaining two nights. Yes, I willingly came out of pocket another nearly $400 just to get away from this place. First of all, the check-in person was horrible. Didn't say anything to us when we walked in and only said the card would have a $250 hold and asked how many keys I wanted. Didn't even tell me the room number, instead wrote it on a sticky and handed it to me with the cards, literally saying nothing. Didn't have me sign anything, no confirmation of my reservation (beyond my ID), check out date, etc. Didn't tell us how to get to our room, nothing. This individual was an absolutely horrible representation of the brand. The room itself was almost as bad as the front desk person. The ceilings were stained, the shower creaked like you were going to come through the floor, and the soap/shampoo bottles attached to the wall were all empty. Further, the TV remote was missing the battery cover and it didn't work anyways so I couldn't even watch TV. I would have normally called the front desk to see if they could help but see above with how much that person cared about anything or anyone. Car got broke into parked under the camara when came back from trip window broke , trod to steal it then asked first person about camara didn’t know anything about them then ask for manager name took him two hours to get his name but no number only email address. Police asked about camara staff said not working police said that common from this hotel.

The bed was fine, but that’s the best that can be said. The shower was significantly clogged, the toilet had the wrong size and shape of seat, it was freezing cold when we arrived. We stayed two nights and our room was not even visited to be tidied up. The “free coffee” provided was via a small Keurig in the room that didn’t have a nearby outlet. There was only one pod for regular coffee. The pool and restaurant were both closed. The whole hotel looks like it’s just fallen into disrepair.

The layout of the hotel is a little weird, but the housekeeper that checked me in was super nice, friendly and helpful. The hotel itself needs attention to the finer points- soap in the dispensers, working elevators (more than 1) the pool wasn’t open either- bummer there… But there was plenty of hot water! And it was HOT! Haha but that’s okay…

Worst hotel ever. Don't bother to stay.
Only there for one night, but would not stay again. Light bulbs flashing, caulk in shower missing, shower disgusting, did not use. Long walk from front desk to elevators which were not working properly, used the stairs. Entire building smelled funny. No wonder it was so cheap. Marriott should be ashamed to have name in building

The cost per night was very affordable, the staff were friendly enough, and the room was clean. The building is clearly in need of maintenance -- 2 of 3 elevators not working, potholes in parking lot, bar/restaurant closed, pool closed, junked hotel van missing 2 front tires parked by the main lobby door.

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! DISAPPOINTED!
Our room was booked (& paid in full) a month ahead. 24 hours before our stay, I recv'd an email stating that we could check in 24 hours early, but the system couldn't find my confirmation/booking #, we proceeded anyway. Upon our arrival, the front desk clerk never greeted us & spoke very low if not mumbling, stated that the hotel was overbooked & the King sized bed we paid for was no longer available due to a big party coming in earlier that day. Because there was a rainstorm, we didn't arrive until 9:30pm (we traveled by car). Not that it should of mattered, considering our room was paid in full. We explained our need for a larger bed to which the clerk very dryly responded with their was nothing he could do. With it being so late & such a long drive, I digressed and decided to stay anyway. The hotel is under renovation so there were signs that read "pardon our dust," & we understood that, but only 1 of 3 elevators worked. With several others waiting for the elevator as well, it seemingly took what felt like forever to reach us & get us to the 5th floor. Upon entering our room, the TV was left on and blaring loudly, The battery back to our bedroom door lock was missing & the wiring exposed. The remote to the TV was also missing it's backing & the batteries were exposed. We were left with one towel & it was stained & dirty, and recieved attitude when we requested a new & additonal one for the 2 of us. Entire staff was rude and made us feel unwelcome. Will not stay again!

We got there to find out the restaurant and the pool were closed, which was why we booked it. No mention of it on hotels.ca. I had to change rooms because the tub was disgusting and coated with dirt. Toilet was not cleaned. Counters were dirty. Floor not vacuumed.

The parking lot is covered with large pot holes. The restaraunt/bar is closed down, we had to walk through the pouring rain to a restaraunt down the block. The pool is out of order. The ice machine is out of order. The room was dirty, (we slept on top of the covers). The entire property is run down and shabby with peeling paint, peeling wallpaper and a musty smell. On the plus side, the staff were cheerful and helpful. Unfortunately this experience has soured me on Four Points hotels for life.

There is nothing positive about this place, but the smile on the staff face. This is truly a con and it needs to be reported for the fraud that it is. There was mold in the gym, the restaurant doesnt exist, the pool is no longer, 3 elevators and only one work, mold and cracks in your room and bathroom, shower water pressure is extremely weak, tv remote dont work, stains on the wall and sheets. I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN

There was no mention of the hotel restaurant and pool being closed, to swim was one of expectations to do while there. I feel I overpaid for this hotel and will definitely not book here again. This place was gross and gives Sheraton a bad name. I couldn’t wait to get out and am so glad it was one night. Everything was out of service or “under renovation.” The room was old, smelled bad, and had damages that were half repaired. I would pick somehow else to stay.

Unfortunately our stay wasn’t very pleasant. Our first room was disgusting and dirty. Front desk happily moved us to another room where there was blood and body hair in our bed, the tub was disgusting and dirty, paint and ceiling was falling down, room smelled like mould. Was a very disappointing stay after a 6.5 hour drive.

We’ll start with the parking lots HUGE freaking potholes, not just in one spot, several. Upon arrival, restaurant was closed due to renovations or some crap, ALL the ice machines were out of service, the pool was closed/out of service, we got into our room and the air conditioner made this god awful noise the entire night AND when we went to shower the next morning, the shampoo and body wash dispensers were COMPLETELY EMPTY. And the freaking kicker was, they had sample bottles of shampoo and conditioner on the vanity…. They were half freaking used!!!!! Are you joking me right now?!?! This place was piss pour all the way around and I want and expect to hear from a manager

For the money we paid it was decent, the room itself was not bad. The were a few things that were not impressive, the TV was only cable, the shower's floor was wonky and the bathroom was in a clear need for an update. For a one night quick stay for under $150 it was worth it but next time I'll spend the extra $20-30 for a place that meets my needs better.

Total Embarrassment to the Marriott Brand
This hotel is a total embarrassment to the Marriott brand. I've stayed in many Marriott (and other) properties and none have ever been as bad as this. Broken and cracked floor tiles, broken elevator buttons, door deadbolts that don't line up with the door jam, etc. The pool and restaurant was "under renovation" but clearly closed down. Major potholes in the parking lot. No need to go on... I had to wait 10 minutes while the sole front desk employee had to deal with an alarm blaring the background. I would not recommend this hotel.

Only one clerk was working at 3:00 on a Saturday so the line was long. The poor couple in front of us were informed that the hotel was overbooked and that their reservation had been cancelled. The elevators were out of service. The restaurant attached to the hotel is closed for renovations. The pool is also closed. The toilet in our room is broken. Overall, not great, pretty disappointing actually.

This is the closest Sheraton to the airport. The one on the airport property is now closed. This is in an unsafe neighborhood and I was very leery about leaving my car. Do NOT park in the back of the hotel-they said they did not have security or cameras out back!

Disappointing
This was very disappointing knowing the conditions of other Four Points Sheraton. Pool and restaurant were both “under construction”, which was really inconvenient for us. One of the 3 elevator was the only one operating and that one was still questionable. The room was not very up to date, didn’t feel clean or smell fresh, small fleas coming out of the shower drain, there were small goats on our towels. It was just not what I expected out of a hotel that should have higher standards. We are not people to complain, we just will not be returning ever.

Not even close to advertised! The pool has been broken for 6 months and the restaurant has been closed for 8 months. My kids were at the Zoo all day and we’re starving—there wasn’t even a vending machine, so I could buy them a snack—let alone WI-FI so I could occupy them until I figured out dinner. The room was filthy with dead bugs littered all over the air conditioner. The vents and light switch were caked with dirt. The wallpaper was falling off the wall, either naturally, or thanks to the many gouges in the walls and furniture left over from what could have only been an MMA fight that had taken place in the room. The linens looked like they hadn’t been changed since the last person who stayed in there. Thank God I didn’t have a black light or who knows what else I would have discovered. When I asked for a refund, they refused. I did not accept their refusal and I ended up spending two hours on the phone with Corporate Sheraton (who couldn’t do anything because I booked through Expedia) and Expedia—who was finally able to give me a refund once I talked to a Supervisor (who incidentally was fantastic!) AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE—which I might now have after setting foot in this urban hellscape!
