Within walking distance to playhouse square, Cleveland state university, and convention center. Has 20 stairs to get to bathroom and bedroom so that may be an issue for people with mobility issues. Is listed as non smoking but past occupants did not follow that rule so for future guests please respect who is to come after you leave (there is a nice outdoor area available) or choose a place where smoking is allowed. The building on the inside seemed a bit dated in some spots; however, the rental itself was great and nothing like the hallway. The off-street secured parking garage was also a great bonus. The garage entry pin pad was a bit tricky and took two or three attempts to get the door to open. The path to the garage is a bit steep towards the top entrance/exit. So if you have a sports car or a car that is low like myself, take it slow and you'll be fine. Overall it's a good place to stay. Owner was very responsive to any questions I had. The buliding is rehabed and in decent condition. The property was clean and well appointed. It is a loft apartment nestled among downtown businesses. It was quiet until late morning around 10 when the businesses begin to operate. We dont sleep past that so it wasnt a problem for us. We had one concern during our stay and they wanted to rush someone over to fix it until we let them know it wasn't important to us...we were just letting them know. Jan 4, 2025 Liked: Check-in, communication Disliked: Cleanliness #### Serves the purpose Stayed 3 nights as we were visiting the Rock n Roll and Football hall of fame. Communication was great, as were directions for parking garage and check in. Place wasn’t cleaned well by the cleaning service and we had to wash and fold the dirty towels that were left. We also had to sweep the place. After that things were okay. The building is older but within walking distance to a lot of things! Public transportation is easily accessible across the street too! It is a quiet building, which was a delight. While the listing boasted a fireplace, it’s for show only so that was a disappointment on a snowy evening. Also, I didn’t pack a hairdryer because it is listed as an amenity and sadly there wasn’t one. There are 20 steps to the bedroom and only bathroom upstairs, so it’s a climb, but not off putting.
