Guests will have access to the whole home, basement, driveway and backyard.  
  
I have as much interaction with the guest as they feel necessary. I do not show up unannounced and never enter the home without being welcomed in by the guest. If the guest needs anything, I am close by and can be at the home in minutes. I am always available by phone, text or email for any questions or concerns.  
  
There are many restaurants, shops, bars, coffee shops and other conveniences within walking distance. Lakewood is only 3 miles long x 2 miles wide...So you can essentially walk anywhere in the city with in a reasonable amount of time. There are also bus lines running on Detroit and Madison Ave. Uber or lyft is very accessible and quick to dispatch. There are so many fun, unique, eclectic, and convenient places to see. Lakewood is the most densely populated city in in Ohio(10th in the USA) so it has that urban feel that is very safe. Lakewood also has one of the best parks in the area, with a great view of the lake if you sit on the Solstice steps! (a must check out)  
Some other Lakewood places to check out in no particular order are The Melt, Becks art Center, The Root Cafe, Mcarthys Pub, The Winking lizard, Bar Italia, Lakewood Park, Madison Park, Rocky River metro park, Natures Oasis Cafe and dozens of little antique and thrift shops up and down Madison and Detroit avenue.  
  
Some near by notable areas/districts to check out within a short drive of Lakewood are the Tremont area, Ohio City area, little Italy, University village, Crocker park, Edgewater park and beach, The Flats, both east bank and west, East 4th district, West 6th district.  
  
If its' specific destination outside of Lakewood and within a 15/ 20 min drive, here are some notable Places....Playhouse square , rock n roll hall of fame, Edgewater beach, Westside market, The History museum, Southside bar, The Melt, Cleveland Aquarium, Mitchells Ice Cream, Cleveland Zoo and much more! If you need any recommendations just ask!  
  
Uber or lyft is very quick and accessible in Lakewood. Lakewood is also very walkable. You can walk to the main streets with plenty of restaurants, shops, bars, and convenient stores within a few minutes.

3\. No cooking with very aromatic seasonings, such as curries  
4\. Please wash any dishes, cups, pots and pans and put them away  
5\. Clean and wash coffee pot and filter.  
6\. Please mop or sweep any spills  
7\. NO SMOKING indoors.  
8\. If you have a pet with you, please clean any hair left behind. If there is excessive hair/fur found, you may be charged a fee.  
9\. Early or late Check ins may be requested 24 hours prior upon availability. For each extra hour requested, there is a $25.00 fee. No requests less than 24 hours prior.

We stayed here with our family and friend’s family (four adults, four kids under 5). The home was far from what the listing photos showed. The air conditioning units were very old, loud and covered in dirt and dust. There was a light bulb hanging from the ceiling fan by a wire. None of us felt comfortable showering as the bathroom and house in general were not clean. There were stray hairs on the clean towels set out on our beds, the floors felt sticky and everything had a layer of dust and grime. While an older house appeared charming in the photos, we were met with a very unclean home. The neighborhood was also throwing a block party the night of our arrival which made parking very challenging. Lastly, it was located beside a railroad crossing which made the stay very loud. While the host was friendly, shared a guest book ahead of time and seemed to communicate well, the stay itself was poor due to the condition of the home. We went with this listing due to great overall rating, but I would highly encourage anyone considering booking this listing to carefully read all of the reviews (especially the negative ones) and consider choosing an alternative option.

My husband, two kids under 10 and small dog stayed here for a couple of days. It was in a great location and the neighborhood was lovely. The house was a little run down and could use some fresh paint and updates but, otherwise, we had an enjoyable stay.

The photos on the site are much better than the actual property. It’s an old house which is fine, I appreciate older vintage restored homes. This house is just old with no updates or improvements. Parlay that with it being extremely dirty doesn’t make for an enjoyable stay. There are four queen beds, comfortable for 8 people but only one filthy bathroom. The kitchen supplies were minimal at best. Three coffee cups and no wine glasses. The windows and screens looked like they haven’t been cleaned in years! So much dirt and grim on the kitchen ceiling fan, we joked about not looking up! My son said it looked like the house he and five guys rented in college. Window unit air-conditioners that didn’t fit the windows with gaps on the sides open to the outdoors! Definitely not worth the money paid. I would not recommend.

House was in a convenient and cute location! House is definitely on the older side and would benefit from a fresh coat of paint and a new toilet/bathroom sink. They styled the house really well tho and the window unit ACs had the house very cool! Beds were comfortable as well

Spacious home, pretty comfortable for our family and convenient location. (A second bathroom would be nice though!) We arrived right before a big snowstorm and the bedroom with a balcony had snow blowing in under the door, which couldn’t be stopped with a towel, hopefully something can be done to weatherproof it better or at least add a weighted item to seal along the bottom of the door. There is one bedroom with 2 queen beds, (so 4 queens total), which can be seen in the photos but the description only listed 1 queen per bedroom.

#### Zero communication tried to steal my deposit

At first I thought it was nice.... but then when I checked out after 10 days I still didn't get my $200 deposit back. I sent a text asking for an update on my deposit. Eventually the lady replied, she said "it's a bad time" rather than reply with an update or even remotely try to answer my question, she just says "its a bad time" and nothing else.... after that she ignored every text message I sent and every time I called she ignored it. Because of this I had to contact vbro and report them. They sent an email to her requesting for an update on my deposit and then and only then did I received my deposit back more than 10 days after I checked out.... I tipped the cleaning crew $40 and left the place immaculate. This people are a huge disappointment... I would not trust them, they would have ripped me off had I not called vbro to file the complaint. Plus now they are currently under investigation by vbro for this type of shady activity..... thank you don't come again 😉

#### Very Nice and Comfortable Home

We very much enjoyed our stay at this home. We found the furnishings to be comfortable and the home very clean. Communication was timely with a quick response from the property manager. While we where there, the internet did not work at all so she gave us a discount on our stay. They were working to update the wiring but couldn't make it happen while we were there. While the location is very good, please note that you are directly next to the train tracks. While it didn't bother me as I am heavy sleeper, it was very loud and did wake up my husband several times. Not a deal breaker for us but something to be aware of. We would return again providing the internet was fixed as we were unable to watch any TV or use any personal devices requiring internet service. Thanks for allowing us to stay at your home.

#### Great place for Cleveland visit

Good location, local restaurants nearby, easy to get downtown, house was really nice and clean, all appliances in great shape. Others: two houses from train tracks (freight train came through around 8 am, once at 4 am), no automatic dishwasher, communication with renter spotty (never responded to several calls made, including day of check in).

#### Property manager never responded to calls/texts about an issue

Lakewood is a wonderful, older suburb of Cleveland. It is filled with many older homes that have been updated with loving care. This is not one of those properties. The furnishings were comfortable and it was fairly clean except for the grimy mini-blinds. The exterior is in need of painting and an updated kitchen would go a long way to make this property more comfortable. Our biggest issue was the kitchen light did not work and repeated calls/texts to the number listed for the property went unanswered. (It wasn't a burned out light bulb.) We loved Lakewood but would hesitate to stay here again unless the owners take care of some deferred maintenance and become more responsive to maintenance calls/texts.

#### Very clean and comfortable

The home was very clean and comfortable. The beds were especially comfortable. Virtually anything we needed was provided. It’s helpful to keep in mind that it’s an older home, but we thought it was charming and the rooms were much larger than they looked in the pictures. The neighborhood was very quiet but there are many restaurants and stores within walking distance. We’d definitely rent there again.
