All the windows have lovely wooden-slatted blinds so there is lots of privacy. The place is simply and tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable and bringing our own linens was no problem. The front porch was a great place to sit and read or have coffee. Two suggestions: perhaps add another place to sit in the living area, and add a shelf or shower caddy in the shower for easier access to soap and shampoo (and so the soap dish doesn't fill with water!). It rained, so we didn’t explore the property, but hope to come back. The home was perfect as it was close to Collingwood, and had a lot of space to stretch out and relax. A home away from home. We loved sitting on the wrap around porch morning or evening. The property is beautiful and quiet. Lots to do around Collingwood to keep us busy. The porch that surrounds the cottage gave us the opportunity to sit outside before setting out and after coming back from a busy day for a cup of tea or a drink. anyone who visits John and Cheryl's place will be thoroughly relaxed and the end of your stay.
