The property itself is centrally located to shopping and activities. The space is very clean and is pretty well stocked- towels and most things needed to eat and cook. The backyard leaves a lot to be desired but there is a charcoal grill back there.The coffee maker is finicky and if you do not get it precisely in the right spot, it will leak- so be aware. There are a few games to play, and for anyone that likes dominoes- they are stored in the monopoly game under the microwave. We didn't see them until we had already bought some. The only real complaint (reason for the missing star) that we had was the mattresses, they are abnormally hard in all of the bedrooms. So much so, that I tried sleeping sitting up on the couch and my aunt slept in the living room chair. Keep in mind that this is the lake, so there are many flying critters at night that are attracted to the light. The bottom unit also has a thousand dead ones at the door- they have not been swept up in a while. One last thing, there is a pet fee per day that Martine advised me about after I had paid for the reservation. I was a little taken aback because the fee is not in the policy anywhere as in other listings- so although I had filtered in pet-friendly spaces, when I went to check out, I did not notice the add a pet and therefore it was not added to my total. Also, the writing on the Wi-Fi plate in the upstairs living room is not clear and it says to sign in to 3G, look under the modem. ##### SHERRON T. Jul 27, 2025 Liked: Location Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, listing accuracy #### Dirty with hazardous poop left on bathroom When we arrived after 4pm in the property, the front door was not locked; different from what the owner told us what to expect. Because it was left unlocked we were unsure if someone did something on the house or took anything - upon inspecting, the only item we saw broken was the storage chair in the living room. The cleaning people the owner said he hired left all the floors very dusty as all our bare feet and white socks turned black. We also saw empty water bottles under the bedroom bed upstairs and down stairs. Which we had to clean ourselves using the vacuum they left. The worst part was the bathroom upstairs when you first enter the front door. We were not able to use it the whole time we were there due to the poop all over that toilet bowl and that bathroom floor that we assumed was either left from the last people that occupied that property or whomever came in as the door was left unlocked. We were afraid to attempt to clean it ourselves due to bio hazards reasons as we don’t know who left that poop. This had cost such inconvenience as 8 adults had to share 2 bathroom the whole duration. We had to leave that bathroom close the whole time. Lastly the beds mattress were all so hard that every one of us was unable to have proper sleep. We ask for the owner to offer a refund as we had to clean the house ourselves before and after using it and for not being able to use the 1 bathroom left unsanitized but he did not want too.
