It also boasted the best water pressure of all the places we stayed in our 18 day trip.I met Raven’s staff (mom and maintenance man) upon departure and they sing her praises. This speaks volumes. The house is new, well-furnished, amply-supplied and just right for Alaska. The owners communicated with us before, during and after our stay and there were no issues or concerns. From room 205, starting from the very first night, I could hear the noise from the plumbing… On top of that, when I asked about the airport shuttle schedule, the answers I received were completely off-topic. The staff member who checked me in seemed totally clueless. In the end, I didn’t even stay for the last night I had paid for. The Wedgewood Resort in Fairbanks is a much better option, even if it’s not as close to downtown. The small downtown area itself is charming, with several international restaurants to choose from."
