The cabin is very clean, the appliances are stainless steel and up to date, and the furniture is very nice. The property backs into the Teanaway River, so you feel like you are truly in nature. Lots of windows in the house as well! There is a gas fire-pit and a wood-burning fire pit on property as well, and there are lounge-chairs on the patio for relaxing. The host is very kind and accommodating, he lives in the cabin next door, and is more than happy to assist you if needed. Some minor things to note: the internet is VERY SLOW. Do not expect to get any work done online, and the phone/LTE service through Verizon is spotty as well. The water smells like sulphur - it must be naturally occurring from the well. The master bedroom is upstairs, and is in an open-plan with the bathroom - so there is no door that you can shut to give yourself privacy while taking a shower. The upstairs toilet fortunately has a separate room with a door you can close for privacy. No complaints for the downstairs bathroom. ##### Liya D. The cabin is well equipped with a great grill and other amenities. I loved the riverside location. The river was a great place to cool off after hiking all day. Numerous hiking trails were only a short drive away. I would highly recommend staying here if you want a quiet getaway with easy access to the great wilderness area of the Teanaway region. Though I have only stayed here during the summer season. The cabin seems well equipped with a generous covered entrance and a grand wood stove.
