"What a hidden gem! On a gorgeous piece of property, this house feels remote yet is a quick drive to downtown Clayton. The home and views are even better than the VRBO listing photos. There are plenty of places for large groups to gather whether in the kitchen, dining room, or enormous porch with expansive views of the mountains. The host was an excellent communicator and was so kind to allow our group to check in early! We can’t wait to return!"

"I can’t say enough good things about our 5 night stay at alpine cabin in Clayton! My husband and I went to play golf at Sky valley.. The home was exactly as described… beautifully decorated, master bedroom ( which was only bedroom that we used) mattress was most comfortable… the kitchen was equipped with everything we could ask for… and more! The communication was excellent with Evan…. He was very kind.. We would definitely recommend this modern, beautiful home and would love to stay there...

"The house was conveniently located to town, Black Rock state park and hiking trails. The house was very clean and well kept. We could have used better directions. It sent us to Jake Field Road which dead ended at the top. Make sure to turn at the road before it called Dud Creek Lane. We had better luck using Apple than google maps."

"This is our 4th stay at this rental and as always, it is just what we need. Close to everything but peaceful and quiet. It also has everything you need to prep for meals, make coffee and sit out under the trees and listen to nature. It is clean and perfect for our weekend stays. "We were over the moon with this mountain house. The views from the porch was wonderful with amazing sunrise views to drink morning coffee. Closely located to stores, downtown Clayton restaurants, and tones of hiking. The house was even better than expected, tons of space, and super cozy beds. Tucked away and quiet while still being so close to the town. Our dogs really enjoyed the trip as well and the fenced yard was a bonus. Hot tub was great after long days of hiking with our dogs.
