Even more beautiful than the pictures. Every single detail has been carefully thought of. Decor looked like it was straight out of a magazine. The grounds are right out of a fairytale. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms beautiful. Felt like an individual oasis. Plenty of space for our family to spread out. So close to downtown Clayton with shops and restaurants, but also private with the extra outdoor deck space and firepits. Property was so fun for our kids to run around in. They played in the meandering creek and picked daffodils. Wonderful, responsive hosts! House is everything that is pictured to be and so much more! STYLISH YET DURABLE Situated on 2.5 + gorgeous acres with huge yard and a creek to keep the kids busy while the adults unwind. Parents can relax, with endless outdoor space, durable furnishings, & uncluttered design this space is ULTRA kid & pet friendly. GREAT FOR GROUPS Easy to walk downtown while the rest of the group hangs back at the lodge. Plenty of room to spread out or be close together. WALKABLE Located less than ½ mile from downtown Clayton. BEDROOM #2- Main Level Equally cozy and beautiful second guest suite also features a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom with dual vanities and a tub/shower combo. BEDROOM #3 - Upper Level Head upstairs to find a loft style bedroom. Three twin beds make an ideal spot for kids to have sleepovers, or they can be converted into a king-size bed and one twin to sleep a couple or family. \*We will leave details on how you can convert twins to a king bed. Also upstairs is a queen-size luxury sofa sleeper sofa brings sleeping spaces up to 5 guests. The house was so well stocked, the amenities were clean, beds were comfy, and the house itself is gorgeous (accurate to pictures). Two notes: 1) room with the 3 twin beds is built for kids and has very low ceilings/sound travels below and 2) the property is quite literally next to a church and in plain sight of a neighbor on the hill. The house and property are top notch all the way around. Attention to detail everywhere is super. The setting is gorgeous and all furnishings and beds are very clean and comfortable. The kitchen has it all- no need to bring stuff from home. We were sad to check out and hope to be repeat guests. Communication was also prompt and thorough. The outside was a different story, with trash from a party strewn around the yard and in one of the gazebos, multiple missing floorboards and tools left out in the same gazebo, a bathtub that we were told would be gone when we saw the place originally, and no power in either of the gazebos even after we were told there would be. The host was responsive and helpful when I explained all of the issues to her, but that still does not excuse the mess in the first place. ##### Lucas M. Couches in the living room were extremely comfortable for watching Tv/movies together. The place felt very private despite its proximity to town. (Great for evening meals and walks to the breweries!) This cabin is extraordinary. It is not missing anything. The location of the property is beautiful and still close to town. The cabin sits on enough acres that you can enjoy your privacy. There are two gazebos. The hot tub is huge and heated just right. Also, very clean. The cabin itself is perfect. It is spotless and decorated so nicely. The owners thought of every detail. Had an amazing four-night stay with our extended family over Thanksgiving. The cabin is gorgeous and fully stocked. Check out was easy (such a perk when you’re paying a lot for service and cleaning fees). Owners were friendly and quick to respond. Highlights include spending time in the hot tub/pool, letting our toddler and dog run free in the yard (it’s flat and perfect for games and littles), hiking, reading and lounging outside on the porch.
